Please kind lady, would a KAI "knife edge" versiom, be better for cutting single layer of common fabrics when it's supposed to be sharper,for cutting thick fabric or many layers, compared to a non knife edge version, of the same pair of scissors? I have to get one for my almost blind mother.She makes wonders creating bags for women and other similar stuff,using fabric,yarn etc. which of the 2 versions, should I order, can you help me please? knife edge or the common version of the KAI N5210 ?

I would try the large 7000 series.
