So, For the pack I am thinking on getting the Light and sound kit and the wand upgrade kit. Does the Sound and light kit connect to the wand kit all connect toghther? Also, if you get the wand kit is there 2 switches you connect to the light and sound kit by taking the 2 switches out of the light and sound kit so you can turn the lights on from the wand with the wand kit
The wand kit connects to the light and sound kit. You still use the switches that come with the light and sound kit to turn on the pack, which in turn powers the wand kit. There are additional switches included with the wand kit.
Had I known there were upgrade kits as easy as this out there I would have bought one in a heartbeat! I had my upgraded spirit pack made by someone else, but the wand and the pack turn on separately and just doesn't sync well. I'm REALLY hoping you make more soon so I can upgrade mine (again)!

Not really. There’s unfortunately no interface on the Spengler wand. The only option you’d really have if you’re brave and a little creative is to start replacing switches on the wand with double pole switches to add more functions.

Yes. You’ll have to use a screwdriver or other metal item as a jumper. You can emulate the push button by tapping the 2 right most pins on SPIRIT_WAND. Basically just tap them for about a half second to simulate a push button.

The spirit wand would be temporary to access the configuration settings. If you don’t have the wiring, you can fake it by using something to short the rightmost 2 pins on the connector marked spirit_wand (lower right corner of the cyclotron board), which will emulate the button on the spirit wand.
I just got my kit in and right away put it in and it is awesome, great work. And I wanted to ask where did you download the sound track I was able to download a few dialogues like two in the box, and he's a ugly little spud.

You can add the hum file to the first track of the song playlist in folder 03 on the SD card. Then the hum is controlled by the switch. The hum file is on the SD card. There is no way to have a power off sound unless you're using my wand kit. The power switch on the pack kit actually kills power, so you can't have a sound. With my wand kit, you get a separate power up/down sound for the wand.
There’s no way to integrate the wand sound into the pack. You can replace one of the wand switches with a DPDT switch and activate the wand and pack at the same time if you can solder

@@jordanmurray9651 they operate separately. I’ve been trying some different things to integrate the Spengler wand, but so far no luck on anything useful.
Which battery pack? The 6 AA pack or a Talentcell? The 6xAA should give you ~10hours in that configuration. The Talentcell 3000mAh pack should run for almost 24hrs straight.

The only difference between the pre2021 version is the wand connector wiring. All of the installation steps are identical.

This is a dumb question, but what size flat head did you use on the motherboard lol. I dont have anything that can fit it.
A standard “garage” type screw driver with a 1/4” wide tip will work fine.

How do you mount the switch on the spengler wand?
is there not a pack hum after the initial startup? i didn't hear it in the video. i was hoping to swap the sounds to the Afterlife version.
You can turn on the pack hum from the configuration options. I need to make a demo video of that, but check the user manual.

Possibly. I have a design for one, but need to productize it so it's a plug and play install.

What is the rating of the card in relation to speaker specs - ohms and watts?
The onboard amplifier is rated 2W into a 4 ohm speaker.

@@nothingalways3 I laser cut the lenses out of acrylic. The screw is how the original white lens was held in.
