But then she got stuck in the PFC vortex and forced to babysit the Party Girls. They had nothing for her of worth to do and she went a long stretch of time without even being on TV. Lyra should have been the new big women's star on Raw who they pushed to the moon, like they did with Tiffany on Smackdown. Lyra should have been feuding with Liv and should have been on Rhea's wargames team. They better give her the IC title to make up for how badly she's been treated.

Jey uso is so mid at ring, he really doesn't seem to be improving his ring work. He was a great tag team guy, but his matches in his single run is just so goddamn basic & boring to watch. No story's being conveyed or not even any high spots. He's just like 2012 Cena with his 5 moves of doom. Instead here, he just has 4, splash, superkick, spear & samoan drop (or turnbuckle rear end if his opponent is a bigger guy). Even Jimmy is a way lot better in ring than Jey. Jimmy & Jacob Fatu carried the wargames match on their back. Jimmy should be there where Jey Uso is right now as one of the top singles stars & he's infact more charismatic & likeable than Jey imo. Edit : Instead of HBK running NXT & Paul running Main roster, it would be way better if they split up the divisions like let Triple H run the men's division & Shawn Michaels run Women's & Tag Team divisions. Shawn Michaels had cooked way too hard with women's & tag team divisions in 2024. Let HBK book the Money in the bank winners too. Triple H sucks ass in presenting MITB winners & make them look like total baffoons before their actual cash-ins. For a change let's see how Shawn books things. It'd be way better if this happens.
@@irishking21 as a tag team guys, Jimmy & Jey, easily on the top 5 of all time. But on the contrary as a singles star, both are so overrated. If it isn't for their family history & nepotism, they wouldn't be where they are today. There are way more talented people in the singles division like Chad Gable, Nakamura(god, he's finally getting a good run), Santos Escobar, Apolo Crews, Andrade, Austin Theory, Carmelo Hayes, etc., who are not getting the push they deserve. The con of this entire bloodline story is that the ones who aren't involved in the bloodline story are just clowned upon left & right. Bronson Reed, Gunther & Logan Paul are the only exceptions here. Chad Gable is getting massacred, Carmelo Hayes is lurking around & now just being involved in a filled rhetoric with Braun Strowman, Santos Escobar is bloody forgotten, Apolo Crews is a wasted potential, Austin Theory & Grayson Waller are two gems whose push is being denied by delaying their split-up & it's now gotten to a point where people just don't care anymore, Andrade, a bloody beast in-ring is being wasted as a showcase talent who just puts on banger on a bloody weekly television, he's not even been involved in a single solid storyline since his return. Bloodline may be the best storyline ever, but it's not sustainable to run a locker-room. Hell even Cody Rhodes was on the verge to be cucked as the Rock just returned & took his spot initially just after Rhodes winning the Rumble & clearly pointing towards Roman (if not for the fan backlash, Cody would've been the biggest loser {cuck} this business has ever seen).
Summerslam was an amazing PPV, it just doesn't feel like it since the storylines which followed were mostly pretty bad. The Judgment Day implosion should've been amazing based off of how it went down at Summerslam, but instead was awful. Nia Jax's build to the title win was great, her title reign has been shit. LA Knight had a decent title reign but was a bit underwhelming. And this doesn't get talked about much, but Roman's return was kinda underwhelming since he was either just not at Smackdown following his return, or when he was there was basically just being beaten up by Solo and co until the Bad Blood feud.
8 months later it still pains my heart to hear that The Uos were the worst match of the year. Especially, after a 622 day tag title reign. My heart still wants to believe that it wasn't their fault. I feel that if they weren't informed at the last minute that their time was cut we might've had something different. I know that some may think that I'm delusional but I know that they have more than that to offer their fans. It's just a shame that we didn't see it.
To me it was Bron Breakker losing at MITB. They were building Bron up to be this unstoppable force that was gonna easily take the title. The match was good but for Bron to eat one helluva kick and take the loss just didn't make sense to me. Obviously after that we got the squash match at SS and the title changing but I don't see the point in the original loss. To me to make the story of him being unstoppable would to have him win at MITB, maybe not in a squash but a decent back and fourth and then the squash at SS. I wouldn't say the loss "burried" him because obviously look at how he is now but still.
When did the WWE ever say that the "Final Boss" was always their plan? It was clearly shown in the Wrestlemania Documentary that they were going with Rock vs Roman, but decided to turn it into Cody vs Roman after The Rock saw the backlash/response it got. They never claimed that it was their plan all along, they called an audible.
This is a hot take: I think 2023 was better than 2024 as a full year. Most of the stuff they did were misses. Look at all these decisions. Wrestlemania was the peak. Punk and Drew were good but I really couldn’t get into anything else.
Personally I still I don’t understand why people’s expectations for Jimmy vs Jey was so high when we all know that they have the SAME moveset and it’s very limited and not particularly interesting
Crown Jewell and the Crown Jewell championship would make a lot more sense to be the immediate PLE after either WrestleMania or Backlash. This way new champions have an immediate feud to go into whilst WWE sets up longer storylines and we can build on the PLE that is Crown Jewell instead of it just being a reset so WWE superstars can have a break. Plus the immediate hype after mania might improve a little
12:59 this fued wouldve been so good if finn waited 6-9 months when Damian priest got a huge opportunity to then come back and attack him when everyone actually forgot ab there fued like he said he would in his first promo after summerslam
3:09 if they wanted to do Rock vs Roman, they should have given Punk the Royal Rumble win even tho he got injured,at least then the fans would understand that Cody did not earn it this time
7:00 I agree, good decision for Tiffany to win, but especially after watching the last smackdown of 2024 and seeing another failed cash-in, yeah I’m tired of the way these MITB holders are being booked. Especially Tiffany.
@ don’t get me wrong when the cash-ins finally happen the superstars are boosted exponentially, but until then, they look terrible. But for real, how can you try to tell two grown ass men that their OPINION is wrong?
Santi, wwe put out a behind the curtain documentary where they told us they pivoted the Rock and Cody storyline because of the backlash from the fans. Rock and Triple H said that they changed their plans after the WeWantCody movement. You should watch it if you haven’t already!
Hot take: WWE should’ve never split up the tag titles, the tag team division was never strong enough for that to happen and there should only be one set of tag titles
@@tombstonerforever9374 only from SmackDown, Raw has done absolutely nothing. If anything, just give smack down the tag titles. Because in all honesty, I doubt the war Raiders will have a good title run. Plus, if they unify the tag titles, they’ll actually get on pay-per-view again.
I don't agree, but you do make a good point. I think splitting them was good, I think the division is strong enough, I think the booking is the bad part here.
The men’s money in the bank wasn’t even that bad. They had no story or plans for it so they got rid of it quickly. Rather that then have some guy look like a fool for the next 9 months
I really dont like an injury angles with cody. Like we all know he is gonna win, so any injury angels just make this win even more outrageous, cuz nobody can win an injured opponent.
Not only did Drew not need the MITB briefcase, he could have been in the match with Priest and Seth as he was screwed by Punk before. Meaning he rightfully should have had a rematch for the title. Then Punk could have come in and got involved trying to screw Drew and then in doing so screwing Seth out of the match.
Having Bayley, Bianca and Iyo on the same team because they are all faces was not a good choice. At least they kind of acknowledge it with Bayley and Bianca and her helping Bianca beat Nia for the adavantage to earn her trust. But the three of them hating each other as well as Nia and Liv hating each other just made no sense why they all teamed up.
Santi you keep saying that you think damian was viewed as a paper champion and that tiffany will be too, but... do you really believe that? Damian had been around for a while and never seen the main event, tiffany basically came straight from NXT and was in main event women's matches almost immediately and shes always been around the main event scene. There's no way you think the average person's opinion after she wins the title is gonna be "shes a transitional champion, a paper champion and she's not gonna be booked as a star" I just... dont see anyone actually believing that.. at all
I have to disagree. Champion vs Champion angles do work if you have a good plot. For instance John Cena and HBK vs Undertaker and Batista was brilliant. But the problem is WWE dont have brand wars anymore. And its also a crutch because you can do so much with a brand war storyline. And its basically the champions league of the show. You get to see which brand is the dominant brand. Its also important for the superstars to have that to bring that competitive spirit back. They need to fight for ratings. Survivor Series should be a brand wars ppv. But it should have a fitting plot. If you will have Champion vs Champion it should be a serious rivalry.
I'm not sure if king of the ring is always gonna be a Saudi show but if so I would change it so that the winner of the king and queen of the ring tournament gets the championship opportunity at crown jewel instead of SummerSlam
Drew winning mitb was so unnecessary that I keep forgetting drew won the thing. It’s an afterthought to me when I look back at the feud, I think of the summerslam match, I think of the bad blood match, and the clash at the castle run in. I only remember the mitb screw when I go “wait who won mitb this year? Oh yeah drew”
Santi literally the WWE is not saying the WM 40 main event was all apart of the plan. Literally they released a whole doc and had people like The Rock say in interviews that it wasnt apart of the plan lol
The 2 weeks of Naito, Moxley, and Tsuji IWGP World title situation, we couldn’t believe that Tsuji (a big up and comer) was going to beat Naito for the title because they already announced Mox vs Naito and they were 100% going to do it, then Naito just won the title back after 6 weeks, it was pretty disappointing because I love Yota Tsuji.
I don't know if I've somehow missed it but at 2:10 where have you heard this from. I watched the documentary on it and I definitely took the opposite from it. It seemed like they were going moment by moment and circumstance after circumstance like punk getting injured and the we want cody movement.
Nah! The Rock over Cody was and it is the Best decision. The problem with that segment was how it was played out, they could have booked a better to do that segment. And i was disappointed with Cody vs Roman, i wanted Roman vs The Rock, but congrats this title it's boring and uninteresting.
by far the worst booking decision was to NOT let tiffy cash in during war games match, that was literally a perfect timing, and they even teased us, but fumbled
I guess I can see why you'd call the Finn and Damien feud a bad booking decision.. but Finn literally telegraphed how they were going to book it from the beginning when after his betrayal he said "I'm going to go until you forget about me and then I'm going to take you down" or whatever it was, but regardless.... he telegraphed that he was going to go until Damien and pretty much everyone forgot about the feud before he struck again
Anyone else tired of Damien priest? No offense but this guy is beyond boring. I fall asleep whenever I see him in the ring cause he tries to act like he’s some monster but he kinda looks goofy 😂
WWE was saving face with that Documentary. The Rock came in thinking he knows what is best for business. Cody deserved everything and Trip hates the rock! So do we all!
Still think if they wanted to fuel the Punk Drew fire, just have him cost drew during the Ladder match? Why waste one of your trademark items i.e., the briefcase for that
Hot take- Drew winning mitb was right cause everyone in that match either was in a fued or just wasn’t ready. In the end the mitb that year wasn’t gonna be good I think

The whole booking of the women’s division and this wwe will they won’t they booking pisses me off so much
It’s not a big deal the war games match hasn’t been talked about since . It would be no different if the heels had one
I don't agree
Jimmy and Jey are robbers
They're awful
@@TheYellowSnoman Wrong
@@megaapp9185 Dude I'm not reading all that, but you are wrong. They are great wrestlers.
Not letting Jey Uso not hold the ic tittle longer. His reign was sooooo short, it needed to be longer
Nah honestly Bron needed to beat him since he couldn’t afford another loss to derail his momentum
Well blame Roman and WWE's obsession with him
literally almost the entire year after july was awful
No
Summerslam was an amazing PPV, it just doesn't feel like it since the storylines which followed were mostly pretty bad.
Having Punk not Main event was also bad booking decisions.
Day 4 of asking santi to make a best and worst match of every wrestlemania vid (2004-2024)
nobody talkin about austin theory turn being prolonged like HELL
8 months later it still pains my heart to hear that The Uos were the worst match of the year. Especially, after a 622 day tag title reign. My heart still wants to believe that it wasn't their fault. I feel that if they weren't informed at the last minute that their time was cut we might've had something different. I know that some may think that I'm delusional but I know that they have more than that to offer their fans. It's just a shame that we didn't see it.
"Chad Gable was the right guy to beat Gunther but he was always just a little bit short." 💀
Alot of the cuts, like dijak and Corbin where super unfortunate
15:00 EXACTLY!!! Gable should’ve been the one to beat Gunther, NOT Sami..
Mania was not peak lol
Great video. Day 184 of asking for comparisons of the current main rosta to veterans/retired/HOF Wrestlers I.e. Dom and Eddie, Sami and Hulk
Wyatt Sicks not being booked on a PLE
Booking decision I hated: not giving us an actual match between K.O. and Randy Orton
You are wrong and so is Santi
@ don’t get me wrong when the cash-ins finally happen the superstars are boosted exponentially, but until then, they look terrible. But for real, how can you try to tell two grown ass men that their OPINION is wrong?

Day 231 of asking Santi to rank every NXT TakeOver
Santi, wwe put out a behind the curtain documentary where they told us they pivoted the Rock and Cody storyline because of the backlash from the fans. Rock and Triple H said that they changed their plans after the WeWantCody movement.
You should watch it if you haven’t already!
Hot take: WWE should’ve never split up the tag titles, the tag team division was never strong enough for that to happen and there should only be one set of tag titles
That is a hot take because we’ve gotten so much stuff from this year in the tag division.
Interesting take, a good one lol
@@tombstonerforever9374 only from SmackDown, Raw has done absolutely nothing. If anything, just give smack down the tag titles. Because in all honesty, I doubt the war Raiders will have a good title run. Plus, if they unify the tag titles, they’ll actually get on pay-per-view again.
@@tombstonerforever9374no we have not, no PPV matches for the tag belts sense maina
Jey and Jimmy's match at WM 40 did get cut by like 7 minutes so they had to change the match last minute
Everything Judgment Day related since SummerSlam has sucked lol
Easily Drew Winning & Cashing in the brief case 👎🏾
I'm not sure if king of the ring is always gonna be a Saudi show but if so I would change it so that the winner of the king and queen of the ring tournament gets the championship opportunity at crown jewel instead of SummerSlam
wasting away the mens MITB briefcase
Finn and JD's title reign
getting rid of Dijak, Corbin, Nox, Hartwell, etc
I don't know about Nox, but I agree with the other ones you mention especially the Indi Hartwell.
4:00
GREAT Jeff and Matt story? Rose… tinted… glasses
Santi literally the WWE is not saying the WM 40 main event was all apart of the plan. Literally they released a whole doc and had people like The Rock say in interviews that it wasnt apart of the plan lol
Of course they're going to say that it's a wwe doc the rock doesn't want to admit he made a mistake lol
@@ahmeddhahir3615 What are you talking about? He did admit he made a mistake
The booking for Liv and Rhea has been so bad lately they both look sick of the feud.
But no one actually believed what The Rock says in that doc 💀
@@buckeroni I do....Why wouldn't I not believe him
Nah! The Rock over Cody was and it is the Best decision. The problem with that segment was how it was played out, they could have booked a better to do that segment. And i was disappointed with Cody vs Roman, i wanted Roman vs The Rock, but congrats this title it's boring and uninteresting.
Ricky not being booked to the top is the biggest war crime of the year 😂
by far the worst booking decision was to NOT let tiffy cash in during war games match, that was literally a perfect timing, and they even teased us, but fumbled
Good video🔥🔥
I guess I can see why you'd call the Finn and Damien feud a bad booking decision.. but Finn literally telegraphed how they were going to book it from the beginning when after his betrayal he said "I'm going to go until you forget about me and then I'm going to take you down" or whatever it was, but regardless.... he telegraphed that he was going to go until Damien and pretty much everyone forgot about the feud before he struck again
Finn vs priest fued is bad , especially when all of judgement day is booked to run in and lose to only priest
The street profits booking this year is the worst. They lost 4x for the tag titles this year which is abysmal
Anyone else tired of Damien priest? No offense but this guy is beyond boring. I fall asleep whenever I see him in the ring cause he tries to act like he’s some monster but he kinda looks goofy 😂
