- Whether you’re new to my channel or not, I’m sure you’re here because you like Wings of Fire! I sure do, so I took the time to organize a video with 130+ facts in it! Voice recording and photos included!
I think this is one of my best videos of all time, and I hope you all think that as well! The amount of editing and dedication and time that went into this video was IMMENSE, so I’d really appreciate it if you shared it or at least liked it :))) 🧡

*Arctic, the Icewing Animus,* had eggs with *Foeslayer,* meaning that *Nightwings now has Animus blood,* since they hadn't gotten any animus. *Darkstalker, who was an animus, didn't have any eggs, but his sister did.* *Whiteout had Animus blood, but wasn't an animus.* (This doesn't mean that her dragonets cant be animus) *Whiteout had eggs with Thoughtful.* We do not have any information on *Whiteout's* dragonets, (one of Whiteout’s grandchildren is mentioned in book 14) so we will skip to *Stonemover.* *Stonemover is an animus,* meaning that he is partially *Icewing.* And *Stonemover had eggs with Thorn.* Sunny came out of the egg, meaning that *Sunny is Sandwing, Nightwing, and Icewing.* Her dragonets might be animus.

The continents aren't actually named after insect parts, but insect genera. Pyrrhia is a genus of moths, and Pantala is a genus of dragonflies.

something I noticed: in book three queen Blaze mentions that queen Glacier comes and rips off a Skywing's wings to protect her, and as we all should know Osprey is a Skywing that has no wings. It may be possible that Osprey was once attacking queen Blaze and Glacier was the one that caused him to lose both his wings. So it was all Glaciers fault that Osprey couldn't save himself when Queen Scarlet dropped him from the air and into the arena, killing him.
I heard somewhere that Osprey is not actually loosing his wings in the original description of the books, that there should be some problems with his tail and he cannot balance in a flight

Fun fact, Sunny isn’t the only character based off Tui’s dog. In survivors, a series Tui helped write, there’s a white Maltese named Sunshine, just like Tui’s dog.

There is a fact, "The Eye of Onyx was created by a dragon named Jerboa, who is an animus that lived and disappeared over 2000 years ago", which is at 8 minutes and 49 seconds. Jerboa eventually reappears in Arc 3. Though, there is another fact, "Hope/Foeslayer is currently 2000 years old due to an animus enchantment", which is at 14 minutes and 6 seconds.
If you truly think about it, Jerboa and Foeslayer could possibly be close in age.
Knowing Tui, Jerboa is probably Darkstalker’s aunt.

They are in fact similar in age. Although Hope is either a few hundred or a century older. This is because Jerboa the I was born around the same time, but was "killed" a few hundred years before present day, or Jerboa the II was born around a century later then Jerboa the first and hope.

one thing that hurts my brain about dragon aging is that Sundew had told Willow that Wasp could "live another hundred years, blah blah more words" which, if thats true, that means that dragons can live to over 200 years, so, Wasp actually ISNT a very old lady, she is a middle-aged old lady
If you look at Queen Coral’s reference, you’ll see she has piercings on her wings for jewelry. So could Seawings pierce the webs between their fingers so that they could wear rings and other jewelry.

Morrowseer is Moonwatcher’s father. Secretkeeper never told anyone, especially Morrowseer, because she was terrified of him taking her back to the volcano to be raised. As of the second most recent book (the poison jungle), nobody except for Moon and her mother are aware of this fact.
Dragons are called “hatchlings” until they are a year or two old, and then they are dragonets.
One Year-old dragons are roughly the size of a human.
Dragon bones are almost as hard as diamonds.
The oldest known dragons (unenchanted) are Grandeur, Queen Wasp, and Handsome, all over 100 years old.
The venom Queen Wasp uses affects only HiveWings. This venom does not work if the HiveWing has a SilkWing descendant in the past six generations. The venom also appears to wear off after a certain age.
There are different kinds of flamesilk.
Firescales dragons do not seem to be affected by the melted metal or fire they touch.
Firescales dragons generate so much heat that their scales can melt metals within seconds. It can be assumed that the dragons use iron and crude steel - this means that a firescales can reach up to at LEAST 1,150 degrees Celsius, or 2,750 degrees Fahrenheit. A normal human has an average body temperature of 36.5 to 37 degrees Celsius, or 97.5 to 100.9 degrees Fahrenheit
And lastly......
These dragons CANNOT biologically be reptiles, as they are warm-blooded, and reptiles can only be cold-blooded. They are not mammals, or fish. They are basically a whole new phylum of chordata (basically a large new group of creatures with spines)

We just live in a small world where only book protagonist can only date other book protagonist. I really want sunny to meet someone completely new, so we can be like, “Let’s hope this guy doesn’t kill anyone or anything”, but with sky, we already know him. So we know pretty much everything about him, and not a fun surprise, unlike sunny meeting someone outside of the book protagonist. Like clay and peril, moon and quibli, glory and deathbringer, and others we all know. I’m just looking for a complete mystery out of a character, and them not being all like “oh, this the the guy who ....” and knowing about him already.

Burn then finds out in Six-Claws' (I think his winglet, don't know the name either) winglet & then says they're going to the MudWings to either convince/demand them to join her.

Huh, I forgot about that. I do think that Cricket's ear was yellow because it had something to do with the lighting. Still, I can't see why black blood would appear bright yellow in her ears, and it doesn't seem like the light is bright enough to show that. Might just be a mistake, though.
Oh also, canonically Nightwings and Sandwings have black tongues, so it’s probably just their skin pigmentation. My cats have grey stripes and spots in their mouths, and I think some snakes have black tongues? But scientifically red blood and blue blood are what makes sense, because it’s the oxygen-attaching metal in your blood that makes it that color (humans have iron, so red, but tarantulas have copper, so blue). This isn’t counting hemolymph, which is mostly clear.
This is also why I believe that Icewings have copper in their blood and not iron. Maybe there’s a lot of natural copper in the Ice Kingdom, so they evolved to handle it?
Copper is a much better conductor. Maybe they evolved to have copper blood to be able to deal with the cold?

Here is a wired fact about me. So the Legends: Darkstalker, I read the book in about 4 weeks. But the Legends: Dragonslayer, the longest book in all of the Wings of Fire series, I read that one in only two weeks. The quickest I've read a WOF book is when I finally got the 4th book, The Dark Secret. I read this in less then a day. If you read all of this, thank you for your time!

If you guys take a look at the fact "Sunny is distantly related to Darkstalker and Whiteout", which is around 8 minutes and 47 seconds, an IceWing appears on the left side, saying the words, "Pfft", and "Lemme punch Sunny". The IceWing then walks up to Sunny but right before the screen switches, the dragon said the words, "* punch *". Sunny doesn't even flinch.
Now we know that Roblox Sunny is immune to pain.

About "Murderbasket". It was a familiar name, and when I read the book I had some theories. The main one was Deathbringer, but the thing is.....If the storyline for dragon slayer was going at the same pace as the normal books, that may be impossible. You see, Sunny was trapped in the Stronghold when Wren was trying to get Sky back, so that meant that *Deathbringer* was back at the rainforest with *Glory* . At that time he also stopped his missions.
Heres proof that the story line is going at the same pace:
Wren needed to get rid of General Sandstorm in order to save Sky, so she used rat poison in his drink. When Thorn came to rescue Sunny, General Sandstorm died because of the rat poison in the middle of the battle. It couldn't have been Deathbringer.

Don't know if anybody said this already, but...
In I think book 15, Wren is teaching Axolotl Dragon. Axolotl outbursts later, "NO EARRING" instead of "no eating." This means that earring and eating are very close in sound in Dragon as well as Human. In other words, each sound in Dragon corresponds to a sound in Human, AND the words are structured exactly the same. No wonder Wren can speak Dragon so well, it's just like learning a coded Human/English!

A little theory I had about Rainwings, if a dragon is a Rainwing hybrid, the dragon would only be able to turn different shades of the other tribes color (Ex. a Sandwing-Rainwing hybrid could only turn different shades of yellow; a Skywing-Rainwing could only turn shades of red, orange, whatever other colors skywings have, etc.)
i once made a fan tribe called cloudwings who could that

What about Nightwings tho? Just like- greyscale? Because they’re not just black. Also, isn’t it mentioned that after Darkstalker was turned into the dragonet, his RainWing part just let him have some colour changing scales among the black?

@@pixxeldust it’s also mentioned that hybrid dragons inherit most of their genes from their mothers (which was also my running theory because of Darkstalker and Sunny) so perhaps raining hybrids with rain wing mothers would be able to change scales within one color scheme like that. But since Darkstalker/peacebringers mother was still a NightWings he couldn’t do that

I've always had this theory on the islands actually just being giant sleeping dragons and being the ancestor(s) to Mudwings or Seawings. Also to think that Silkwings were hinted at that early in the series at Burn's tower makes me want to find Sunny's graphic novel again and just scower through it.
I actually was so disappointed of the ending for book 15 that I created an entire arc with new backstory and characters and tribes. And one of it was the origins of the continents. Long story short, they’re primordial gods who battled for control over the universe before being entombed by another god. Hence why they look like dragons since these gods took dragon-like forms.
