Thanks for your content! Do you like Fox Step-Cast more than stock SID Select+? Any problems synchronizing lock-out with RockShox rear shock (I remember Fox had some different lock logic than RockShox)?
My pleasure! First impression on Fox was day & night experience - but is hard to be objective when SID Select already had 17k km on it. Even though it was serviced quite often, straight out of box feeling on Fox was...Magnificent. I was said that this difference comes from LSC on Fit4 damper (low speed compression). What it brings to the table is swallowing small bumps to the degree where you just KNOW they exist, but don't feel it :) I mean, its pretty hard to believe. RC Pro came with Fox Nude, haven't done a thing to lockout / twinloc internals - worked out of the box
@@tom10crafted Thank you! Sounds very promising. Will look for good deal of 2025 version next year)) My Spark with RockShox is mainly race bike with like 3k km, but I have strong feeling that it is too harsh. I have numb hands by the end of races and cannot figure out how to make it more forgiving and progressive at the same time.
Why do you not like the factory stickers? Got my son's factory sc 120mm remote lockout for $884Aud(cheaper than RS Reba) was over $1370 before the discounts, have just bought him a $200 21year old drop bar full Ultegra 3x9 race bike in perfect cond that weight 8.5kg in original stock form, today went together and he already loves how fast and effortless it is and likes it more than his hardtail which sadly has cost me near 5,000Aud, ouch. Hopefully the fork swap transforms the hardtail. For stickers I might tape over the stickers with black tape so the other kids he races against don't get sad, but how to hide the kashima coating😊.
There is nothing specific about factory stickers, except subjective matter of taste. For me, the more minimal design - the better. SID has a lot better designs, IMO. Paint job is also one of the reason why I have RC Pro frame, heaviest from the carbon frames (sorry all those who have WC rainbows, that is my opinion only:)). Now THAT might sound contradictive from someone who has so many of my own stickers on the frame - but they are mine, and thats the difference for choice :)

@ two things you could try to:
1. Playing around with rebound
2. Adding 1 token
Both can make decent change in the way RS feels
Do you think cutting the steerer requires a cutting guide? I've cut bars including carbon without one, is a steerer tube trickier than handlebars?
@ not necessarily, but it simplifies the process. I assume it is thicker than bars, but if you can rigidly secure it while cutting, it shall be fine

@@tom10crafted where did you source the black on black sticker set from?
