I'm literally in my bed crying. I've never seen a woman like Ashley in my entire life. The struggles she's been through, those hard moments yet she never gave up. She's such an inspiration to many people out there. A woman of kindness, enthusiasm, she's not only beautiful outside but inside she's even more a great person to look upto. There are so many times I asked myself this question. I am almost 25 and honestly am starting to be my own human only now. So anyone, who is younger and can not find themselves- it is ok. We all have one road with our own lane and our own speed. So at some point we will reach the checkpoint of self discovery, self love and respect. We just have to keep going. This honestly made me cry a little bit. It has been such a crazy experience to follow her career these past six years. When she released that letter about how she was revisiting the badlands, it was so eye opening to see how much she and I as a fan have changed. She has blossomed into such a wonderful woman, and bit by bit she continues to find herself. When Room 93 came out, I was thirteen and going into foster care. I was unruly and wild and desperately trying to discover my place in a broken world. And now, I’m 18 and the first member of my biological family to start a career and go to college. Her music has been an anchor to help me keep in touch with my feelings, and also a diary of growth. Even though she is older than me, I feel like a proud mother. She has come such a long way and I can’t wait to see how far she will continue to go. Love you Ashley.

As someone who suffers from borderline personality disorder this album really speaks to me with every song. It feels like a lot of the time I’m really misunderstood and I feel my feelings so intensely and I just don’t know sometimes how to put into words how I feel. You feel like you are always trying to control the uncontrollable and end up defeating yourself trying to cling to everything so you don’t lose everything. The constant apologizing and people pleasing when you know you don’t love yourself at all and you are trying to love everyone else and have everyone love you to fill in that void. Halsey deals with mental illness too and she is so open and honest about it and that makes me feel a little less alone. I was born on 9/28 a day before her so we are both Libras and huge empaths it seems. You remember almost everyone but trust no one and all you want is to make everything alright because that will fix it, right?

This song means the world to me. There’s no song that has ever moved my soul as this one, it made me fall in love with music so deeply and storytelling. I listened to this everyday for three years, and the lyrics it felt like it was my song and made me feel so understood. It was my song with the most listens everyday, and I can’t put into words what it means to me. *Halsey is the the most unique person I've seen. She made me realise that being weird was perfectly fine. That being you was okay. Since the last three years, she has helped me except my insecurities, my anxiety and all my darkest parts that I was too scared to even believe about. I remember the first time I heard Halsey in 2015 so clearly, it was the song Ghost and I was so obsessed I listened to Badlands on repeat and blasted it in my car and asked my friends if they had heard of Halsey cause they needed to listen to this girl. I couldn't believe I was only a year younger than her and she had so much talent. 5 years later and my love has only grown for her. Manic is such a beautiful and vulnerable album, you can hear her heart and soul in each song. I'm just so damn proud of her even though I don't know her and never will, but watching her growth through the years has been incredible and reward in itself. I can't begin to say how much her music has helped and comforted me in good and bad times, and I know it'll continue doing that.

I didn't know what I wanted to do and what I wanted to be when I grew up. whom to take as an example. I met you again while I was putting my head on the pillow and wondering why I am in this situation. No, not face to face, but your voice has brought me a lot. now I knew what I wanted to be. no, not being a doctor or engineer. I would be a brave woman who spoke her thoughts without fear. I would meet people I would like to live this life with. I listened to you when I felt bad. I wrote diaries. I gave up the absurd pessimistic thoughts in my head. whenever I feel weak. Hi Ash. Today is your birthday. Although i never know where to start when it comes to you, i think I want to talk about two parts in a song that matters today.
The first part I want to talk about

This is the first thing you think wrong, This doesn’t apply to every hero, at least not mine.
Because my hero is not 'perfect' and I don't want her to be. She can make mistakes, Se can lose herself and find herself again no matter how old she, she can resist the voice that tells her to be perfect… I never loved you because you were perfect. Whatever you live, whatever person you are, we meet at the same place at the end of the day. we all come in mistakes. this is one of many things we have in common. We will never be 'perfect and unproblematic' in other words 'normal' community, let's not please. if we will be together; Let's cry, make mistakes, love each other despite everything …

And this is the second part you think wrong. I don't know that girl, that one with pink hair in detroit. But I know myself. I can't speak for that girl, but i can speak for myself, we need you, Ashley. More than anyone. But your importance to us is not that you are perfect. We love you because you meet at the same place with us at the end of the day, because you tell us we are not alone, maybe because thousands of people who do not know each other cry thinking about thousands of different things in the same part in your songs, because you made the music so powerful and meaningful, in short, we love you for being you.
Celebrating your birthday with a single sentence seems a little strange to me. Because you are offering us thousands of copies, versions of yourself. You are doing your best. That's why, happy birthday to Ash who is singer, painter, dancer, actress, songwriter, cook and gardener... happy birthday to the girl who always work to do the best, to be the best, sometimes makes mistakes. and most importantly happy birthday to Ash who is picked us.
You will always be special to me. When i was born singing and didn't know that it was something different, when i was thinking why i had no dreams and goals and why my friends' fancy professions didn't interest me, then i got to know you and my approach and perspective to dance and music changed. I was relieved because i slowly started to empty my heart using the music. All of your albums are masterpieces, never be humble about it. I could talk about this for hours, but i don't want to extend it. If my dreams about music come through, although light years away, and i meet you, i promise i will hug you and not leave for long for all your separate birthdays. I want to make you feel how important you are to me. You are the first person i want to know so much, i love everything and i do not forget that you are a human while doing this .. I divide myself into pieces in all your songs and find myself again ... you will always be the one and special for me because as you know very well "second's not the same"
