The reason the ND palette has foam is to absorb any pressure from moving the palette or accidentally dropping it because her shadows are so delicate. ND palettes are absolutely worth it, I have almost all of them and they are so beautiful and last forever.
I love how you are so honest! I have been here a while watching your videos and they are consistently amazing! But bc pets are awesome I have a few so I will list them! A bunch of show horses and a cat named Pasta, a blue heeler named puddles :)
Steph, you need to try Pat McGrath products, especially the eyeshadows palettes. Outrageously expensive but they don’t compare to anything else on the market in my opinion!

I loveee high end makeup (charlotte tilbury) but that pallet is an outrage 😭 I expect it to be perfect and transform my eyes for that price!

Love the eyeshadow look. You are right though, it's definitely not worth 111£. I have an old palm sized palette (bought with discount for 3€) and can recreate this look and my yellow even brighter 🤣

Hi Stephanie! I have been watching your channel for a couple months now and I absolutely love your videos. I am from Michigan, US and have 3 kids, 3 Dachshunds (weiner dogs) and 1 cat.
I have used a few Natasha Denona 5 pan palettes and I really find her shadows hit or miss. Some are hard to blend and/or have a lot of fallout. I would never spend $111(ish) on her palettes. Not sure I would spend that much on any palette unless it actually put the shadow on for me 😊

I’ve got that foundation on 4.25 which is the best peach undertone I have ever found. It smells like paint in a good way but it goes away soon. Also I have super sensitive skin and had no issues with it

Some are foam some are plastic. I have the Safari palette and it's plastic

I had the pastel blue one just like yours (got mine at dollar tree). Miss A has an AOA mirror that's perfect size it's my daily! It does say AOA but they may have some without not sure.

I got sent that ysl mascara free to test and the only thing I can say is it did grow on me based on the wear. I was very meh at first but as someone who always gets flaking and transfer at the end of the day I was shocked that at least for me it fully stayed intact including through a wedding with all the crying and eye rubbing.

OMG. That palette in Australia is $198! I do have the mini retro from ND which is super pigmented so I’m surprised this was not. Btw. I have 2 huskies (Phoenix and Dakota) and 2 cats (Vlad the destroyer and Fintan) who boss them around. Love your content Steph even though I’m old enough to be your mother

I think the Natasha Denona palettes are worth it cos the product is gorgeous! However, I think the midi size palettes packaging is more luxe than the large ones (the one you have here). They also don’t swatch great but they perform well.
Yay Truth from Steph! Thank you very much for the review, I knew you'd choose completely different products than most US YTers! I think the ABH glowstick would look sick in the summer on bare skin, give it a go in the heat before you toss it over. The ND palettes I always admired from afar, but never made a purchase. At this point I think the mattes working depends on skin type - dry, normal, oily, etc. That is why for many people it is a dream for others is just junk.
I got very tempted on the ND pastell palette, because two years ago I got the Beauty Bay one and, well... it isn't working for me. But pastelles are not something I would wear all year longs and gambling on ND with that pricetag is just not going to happen. I am glad you suffered for us. Thanks :D
btw my super fluffy Russian blue cat's name is Ignatius. : ) and you picked up on that similarly named shade, I thought I'd tell. : )
I still think you should try a good Chanel quad. My fav ever eyeshadow formula. That's how one should spend their Boots points imo ;)

I love hearing your comments on expensive products. I personally would not spend so much money on an eyeshadow palette. Could you review some new beauty bay eyeshadow palettes. I saw some purple themed palettes that seem pretty nice.

I absolutely LOVE Natasha Denona shadows, but £110 is mad for a pallette, especially when they do the slightly smaller, cheaper ones, and then the minis! Pick up a mini if you're interested in ND shadows!
My fav product that you used was the Armani Luminous Silk and I swear by it when I want that flawless natural skin appearance (hate the price 😒 but a little goes a long way). I must say though… mine has no scent like you’re describing at all. I’m wondering if yours may be expired by accident or something from the factory? I seriously have close to no scent in my foundation. And there are some foundations that truly stink 😳 but not my Armani 🤔

ND shadows are hit or miss sometimes. I have a few of her pallets and most of the ones I have a great. With her cream to powder formula. E.g. The Glam eye pallet NOT the face & eye pallet.
Also like her Trio Chrome and her 5 pans are usually quite good also.

I've heard soo many American TH-camrs rave about Natasha denona but none of the UK TH-camrs have ever mentioned them, so glad to see someone review and be totally honest! I have heard some of the palettes are hit and miss, especially the shimmers being abit meh!

You say if u want a good yellow eye-shadow then its yours for £111, however I just watched your boo hoo makeup video & I was as surprised as you were at how pigmented the yellow shade was in that palette @ a fraction of the price!! I too would have something to say about the cheaply made palette if paying that amount Steph!! Well said xx
