How can the shareholders want this. Tesla only make like 15 billion per year in profit and they want to give it all away times 5 to a share holder.Valuation of Tesla is crazy created by Elons 70-100 media posts per day so the ones that want him to get it can pay him personally.

@@dangychoice7800 Tesla founders never made or sold a car. Tesla was founded in July 2003, and Musk joined in February 2004. Tesla didn't have a product, not even an office. It was just a piece of paper of company name registration. They didn't even have money to create something. The founders stopped working in Sep 2007 and left the company in 2008. Musk became the CEO in 2008. The first Gen Roadster, aka Lotus kit car (Put Battery and Motors on a Lotus), was the last and only Tesla project they worked on with the Tesla team. The first proper Tesla EV is the 2012 Model S. So, who is the real founder. Everyone laughed at Tesla until the 2016 Model 3 announcement.

When has ANY CEO ever passed away and the company has very soon gone broke and disappeared forever. Ahhhhh, but Musk is different. He is a Superhero in his own mind. Initially, Musk didn't ask for it. That package deal was made by the board of directors because they knew during that time it is impossible for Musk to achieve it. But that plan backfired, and Tesla's board had no choice but to pay him.

He grew the company astronomically. If there is no Elon there is no Tesla. What is he worth? Success is to be rewarded, and Elon deserves every penny of what was voted on by at least 70% of the shareholders.
This is reminiscent of two things:
    1. Voters cannot be trusted ro make up their own minds as they are stupid
    2. Regular people don't know how to decipher truth so we must censor anything the arbiters decide is deemed unfit to hear
The shareholders are Supreme. What's next , a judge will one day lift the veil on Ltd liability companies and hold shareholders personally liable during company failures.

Judge has no say in this as 70 percent of investors agree, Elon is the most important person in Tesla, it’s not upto the judge to decide who get paid what when majority approved. If the minority share holders feel bad they can always sell the share and invest in other companies that matches their appetite for low pay for CEOs.

Even if he negotiated with himself, he invested that money himself, not to mention, he moved the company from $50 billion, then moved it to $600 billion.. come on, what the hell, in a capitalist country, this is nonsense. That judge is full of shit!

He got a dumb fast cause he knew how to do it. They didn't. Nobody else did pay the man. He did his job so what he did at fast it didn't take him years. You're talking, you know? When it took him, would you want to take a 1000 years? Young man is learning.Judge should have nothing to say about it.If she is stockholder humans are already shareholder without it

Musk is trying to take all the pay, while firing those who helped developed the company ( he fired the whole charging stations team, one of the main selling points that established Tesla). While Musk might bring in a whole lot of fortune to the company, he is the not the lone wolf (not any CEO) leading the pack, a lot of great minds has enabled them with Musk approvals of course. So why should only the CEO have so much power and pay? The shareholders decision is democratic but not the power dynamics or organizational hierarchy ( which is more close to authoritarian)

Musk transformed the entire automobile industry, shifting it from conventional vehicles to electric and even autonomous cars. While we may focus on his bonuses during the company's struggles, it's important to recognize that all Tesla employees also deserve equal recognition for their contributions and should be eligible to receive their fair share.

The cornerstone of capitalism is private ownership & a trade market of buyers & sellers..if ur shareholders & board members approve - what gives the legal sector the right to intervene for a ceo salary ? Do they sign his pay cheques ? If the company does poorly do they refinance it ? What is the legal basis for the interference in a non govt. Private entity ? There is only 1 area - split a conpany due to monopoly. Nyways elons salary wont be cash. Ceo
packages tend to include stocks some have ordinary shares traded & blue chip is retained only for the board. Microsoft was split , google is heading that way but none of their ceo packages have been questioned via legal processes. If this is how America is being run then either elon is going to push for favourable changes via trump or he will leave & settle elsewhere. Though he is South African doubt he will chose to go back to a cri.e infested black apartheid corrupt country.
