I'll have to figure this out come February, but I like the tips. Over the past few years, I've bought one of the skip the line passes for Six Flags, Cedar Point, King's Island, Disneyland, Disney World, and had one at Universal Studios Hollywood as part of the VIP tour. Cedar Point, King's Island, and Six Flag had tiers, with the first two having their newest or top-tier rides included with the more expensive one (I only went to those parks for the first time in July / August, so I'm not exactly sure), while the lower cost option excluded a few of those. Six Flags I think had cooldown periods between uses (the more expensive the pass, the shorter the cooldown). I had gotten maximum use out of Genie+ on several visits. My February visit will put this one to the test. I have the disadvantage of not staying on property (I prefer vacation rental houses), but the advantage of it just being me. I'm willing to pay to avoid lines if I can, though my main strategy for doing that is going at an uncrowded part of the year.
I have watch a lot of reports on the new multipass system. Everywhere but Magic Kingdom it seems unnecessary to do a lot. But as someone who rarely gets to Disney World the time saved not standing in line is valuable time to enjoy details of each park. One report showed a good rope droo strategy vs multipass, both people finished the rides close to the same time in Hollywood studios. However the multipass user saved over 2 hours of line time to enjoy the park.

Looks like a new option entered the discussion. Now the decision will have to included the new premiere pass

You would be a prime candidate for multipass since you don’t frequent the parks as often and would want to maximize your time.
first!
We need a part 2 with DLR point of view 🧐
