Yes, used an ND filter to get long exposure shots. Thanks for watching, stay safe, cheers Phil

what is the best interval seconds for waterfall timelapse?

    • @IntotheWildFilms

Its difficult to give a 'best interval' because it depends on factors at the location. If you are looking for misty streaky falls obviously you want a longer exposure time. I set up and shot numerous test shots at each location and then picked the settings I was most happy with for the timelapse. From memory (it was a while back now) I think I was shooting exposures around 1.2 to 1.5 seconds. All I can suggest is get out there and give it a go, the more you try the more you learn. Cheers Phil

lovely, are these all stills that you have stitched?

Hi thanks for watching, yes that's right, had to shoot stills to get the silky waterfall look, varying exposure times depending upon the available light at each location.

@@IntotheWildFilms well done! Do you teach this method by any chance?

Sorry no, I learnt through trial and error by first testing shutter speeds then when I was happy with that setting up an intervalometer to capture the 200 or so shots for each sequence.
