I don't think that's the issue. The REAL issue is that the young stars ain't doin' the dunk contest for some reason. A LOT of the legends did it (MJ, Vince, Kobe, T-Mac, etc.), but now NONE of the stars seem to want to get into it. People like Zion, Ja, Anthony Edwards, and the like are OBVIOUS choices for people we would want to see, but they're just not opting in, and it SUCKS!!!

Screen action where paul makes a hard cut to the elbow for 3 or a straight drive, watch pierce offense highlights and you'll find that same exact play mostly ends up with him shooting 3s.
There's also another play they didn't mention called the Paul pierce series, switch play at the top of the freethrow line where Pierce hunts the smaller point guard, he used to milk that play but it became more of a Dirk Nowitzki signature.
