In Jewish synagogues, the men and women must be seperated by a wall. So if that is the same in a Mosque, I don't see any problem for a Jew to pray in a mosque. As long as a Jew is actually saying a Jewish prayer.

Of course you are praying in your own version. As long as its abrahamic and not idolatry we as Muslims have to tolerate/ allow it. Its like when Muslims are invited to Synagogues or non-trinitarian churches to join the prayer: as long as there is no idolatry around you do your prayer as usual and we do it the muslim way. I even saw this onece with a group of Jews and Muslims but it was a outside praying ground.

    • @fia4459
      @fia4459 6 ปีที่แล้ว +23

Realmatic 35 , it is important to note that “Allah” is the same word that Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews use for God. If you pick up an Arabic Bible, you will see the word “Allah” being used where “God” is used in English. This is because “Allah” is a word in the Arabic language equivalent to the English word “God” with a capital “G”. Additionally, the word “Allah” cannot be made plural, a fact which goes hand-in-hand with the Islamic concept of God.so Arab and Jews don't use that word because they're oppressed that is the real word used in the language they speak. That was such a bullshit excuse honestly. It is interesting to note that the Aramaic word “El”, which is the word for God in the language that Jesus spoke, is certainly more similar in sound to the word “Allah” than the English word “God.” This also holds true for the various Hebrew words for God, which are “El” and “Elah”, and the plural or glorified form “Elohim.” The reason for these similarities is that Aramaic, Hebrew and Arabic are all Semitic languages with common origins. It should also be noted that in translating the Bible into English, the Hebrew word “El” is translated variously as “God”, “god” and “angel”! This imprecise language allows different translators, based on their preconceived notions, to translate the word to fit their own views. The Arabic word “Allah” presents no such difficulty or ambiguity, since it is only used for Almighty God alone. Additionally, in English, the only difference between “god”, meaning a false god, and “God”, meaning the One True God, is the capital “G”. Due to the above mentioned facts, a more accurate translation of the word “Allah” into English might be “The One -and-Only God” or “The One True God.”So muslims and Jews pray to one God and that is why they don't believe in the Christian system of 3 in 1.

Actually, History and New Testament are my fields. I not only believe in the Trinity, I also believe that Jesus is Yahweh
Let's take the gospel of John out of the picture and keep Mark and Paul letters (which would be the earliest material we have available on this topic, if we are going to argue Historically rather than theologically), it does not matter at all. What is important is not what Jesus said about himself, but what God says about Jesus, for example:
      • Who is the First and the Last Yahweh or Jesus?
Isaiah 44:6 “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me, there is no God.
Revelation 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
      • Every knee should bow to who Yahweh or Jesus?
“… Every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to me” (Isaiah 45:23).
“…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11).
      • Who created all things, Jesus or Yahweh?
“This is what the Lord says-your Redeemer and Creator: ‘I am the Lord, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with me when I made the earth?’” (Isaiah 44:24).
“…for through him, God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see-such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him” (Colossians 1:16).
      • Who is God Jesus or Yahweh?
“’… You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God-there has never been, and there never will be. I, yes, I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior.’” (Isaiah 43:10-11)
“For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures … There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:11-12).
Christians always believed that Jesus was God.

Are you suggeting that it was Paul who came up with the idea of a triune God?
If so, you are not correct.
It was in fact in vogue during the early Christian era.
      1. There was the Egyptian Triad of Rameses II Amon-Ra and Nut
      2. The Egyptian Triad of Horus Osiris and Isis
      3. The Palmyra Triad of the Moon god Lord of the Heavens and Sun god
      4. Babylon Triad of Ishtar Sin and Shamash
      5. The Buddhist Triune of Transformation body Enjoyment body and Truth body
      6. The Hindu Triad of Brahma Vishnu and Shiva
      Just to name a few.
      There were others.
The profound effect of defining the Christian 'trinity' manifested itself in the writings of the Greek philosopher Plato.
His philosophy was based on a tnree-fold distinction of THE FIRST CAUSE , The REASON or LOGOS, and the SPIRIT OF THE UNIVERSE.
You can find this in the wroting of one of the greatest English historians Edward Gibbon, author of 'DECLINE AND FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE'
Augustus Caesar was also acknowledged by the Ephesians as a god manifest as a man and Divine savior of all human life.
The Bible bears witness that the Gentiles were all too willing to promote not only Jesus but even his apostles/companions to the position of gods. ACTS 14: 1-14
The concept of a ressurection was not novel either.
It was ATHANASIUS The Bishop of Alexandria who put forward the Idea of a Christian Trinity.
Arius who condemned the trinity theory was excommunicated
Later he was reinstated to be poisoned by Athanasius in 336 CE
The Church called his death a miracle....
The Christian Church were specialist in killing and murder, and continue that tradition to this day.
The triune God theory was not a novel concept. It was in facvot in

Point: It is not the Gospel OF John.
John never wrote nor signed it, nor is there a verified chain of narration.
None of the Gospels were written by the alleged author.
The Gospels are also distorted by the hand of man.
The Bible itself states "Prove all things, hold fast that which is good"
      Thessalonians 5:21
Paul's followers obtained copies of the Gospels, they copy them with drastic modification to fit the Pauline doctrine.
Centuries later Christian Scholars begin to see that the claimed authors did not write these books.
Therefore the Church recognize these Gospels and calls them The Gospel ACCORDING to....
Besides that even the Gospels do not agree with each other, and some critical information is totally missing in one Gospel that appears in another.
The Gospels were produced that which clearly reflected the practical needs of the community for which they were written, and thete was no hesitation in making additions to it, and leaving out that which served no purpose for the writer.

Of course Jews know that prophecy and revelations can only come to the Jews. How do they know this? Because the Jews say so and the book that they’ve corrupted tells them so 😂👏
Abraham’s Father was a HUGE pagan and idolator and an idol maker and worshipper and Abraham became the ‘close friend’ of God so your logic for ‘worthy of prophecy’ falls flat on its face again Just like the rest of your crappy man-worshipping arguments.
Your blood does not make you pure otherwise Noah’s son would have been saved.
Your blood does not make you false otherwise Abraham could never have become the Mountain prophet he became after being raised within pagans with a pagan father.
There is no ‘pure blood’ otherwise why did Moses order 3000 of his own ‘pure blooded’, ‘Chosen’ Israelites to be put to the sword for worshipping the calf?
The message was clear from Moses: There is no ‘pure blood’ - act like a filthy stinking idolator and you’ll be dealt with like one!

+Musa Hossain Praise be to Allaah.
It is permissible to pray in a church if there are no images or statues in it.
Al-Bukhaari included a chapter in hisSaheeh which he entitled: Chapter on praying in a “chapel”. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We will not enter your churches because of the images in them. Ibn ‘Abbaas would pray in a “chapel” except a “chapel” in which there were statues. Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Chapter on praying in “chapels”; a “chapel” is a place of worship for Christians. The author of al-Muhkamsaid: The “chapel” is the cell of the monk, or, it was said, the church of the Christians, and the latter is the reliable view. The ruling on “chapels” also applies to churches, synagogues, hermits’ cells, temples in which there are idols, fire temples and so on. End quote.
If there are images or statues in it, the fuqaha’ differed concerning the ruling on praying there in that case. Some of them are of the view that it is haraam, but the majority are of the view that it is makrooh. The reason given by those who regard it as haraam is the general meaning of the evidence which indicates that statues and keeping them are haraam, because the presence of these images prevents the angels from entering that place.
Al-Bukhaari (3225) and Muslim (2106) narrated from Abu Talhah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.”

Al-Tirmidhi (2806) and Abu Dawood (4158) narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Jibreel came to me and said: ‘I was going to come to you yesterday and nothing prevented me from entering upon you in the house where you were except that at the door of the house there was a statue of a man, and in the house there was a curtain on which there were images, and in the house there was a dog. So give instructions that the head of the statue at the door should be cut off, so that it will look like a tree. And give instructions that the curtain should be cut up and made into two pillows that will be placed on the ground and stepped on. And issue instructions that the dog be put outside.’” So the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did that. And the dog was a puppy belonging to al-Hasan or al-Husayn that was under a bed, and he gave instructions that it should be taken outside.
This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami‘, no. 68.

Surfxeo The words you are using is a reflection of ur self. What do you mean by a being and a person? Are you one being and one person or different being and different person? If the former, then each person of the 3 persons in the Trinity is a differents being as well as a differents person. If the later, then the confussion continues. Does the Father and the Son shares the same heart and mind? If so, how are they differents persons??
This doctrine is not only false, but along the way its also commits intellectual suicide as you are demostrating now.
Recently, any Christian that try to explain the mystery of the Trinity and fails, he or she must put the blame on the Quran for his failure. What a childish way of trying to make sense out of nonsense. Dont you think non-muslims are asking the same questions that muslims are asking. Will you need to first blame their scriptures or intelligents before explaining the mystery of the Trinity?
Jews and Christians are reading the same Book and yet believes in a different God?
You first need to settle that differences between yourselves before debating with Muslims about the nature of God.

Plus the mother is the one that has the main focus on the kids and if she's not Muslim how do you expect her to raise them Muslim it's only allowed for Muslims to marry a Jew if she's pious so she will teach the children to fear God, pious Jewish women are not allowed to marry outside their religion so finding one is impossible so why don't you want to marry a pious Muslimah that is better for you.

Why would God create man in His image?
And indeed if a man were to be the perfect image of God (as we Christians say of Jesus) would it not then logically follow that the distinction between God and His image is obliterated?
For those that ask "why would God come down as a man?" I ask "why would He come down as a burning bush or as a pillar of fire?"
The book of Genesis mentions God's spirit coming over the waters as well as God "walking" in the Garden of Eden.
Trinitarian Christians *do* believe in the oneness of God, but have a more complex understanding of what monotheistic unity means. It is reasonable for people of no faith or other faiths to be skeptical but at the same time I ask them to broaden their horizons a little.
Historically attempts to explain the Trinity have been problematic because of the fear of falling into error; it is a subject where the church has been purposefully obtuse in the name of Scriptural Fidelity and unity of the faith. But, here are some historical arguments that might help make some sense of it:
      1. Like water (solid, liquid, gas) God can take on different forms that relate differently to humanity. (This is generally denounced as the heresy of modalism if it is taken too seriously).
      2. In a neoplatonic sense, God the Father is the highest state of being; undivided and infinite and beyond the ability of any person to understand. The begotten Son is the Logos; the Son manifests the will of the Father and He and the Holy Spirit (which flows from the Father and Son) interacts with the material world and the creations in it. (Taken to its extreme this argument spawns the heresy of arianism, which is what prompted the Council of Nicaea).
At any rate, anyone who has studied object oriented programming hopefully can appreciate the philosophy of trinitarian dogma. We are saying that the God object is a Singleton that implements multiple interfaces.
This is why Trinitarian Christians unironically pray the Shema and affirm "We/I believe in one God (Credit in unum Deum)" as literally the first line of the Nicene Formula.
I might suggest to Muslim and Jews that whether you set foot in a trinitarian Christian Church (and I believe I speak atleast for my congregation and probably for the whole body of Christ when I say "we welcome you") depends on whether you believe that we are being sincere. I will not take it as a personal affront if you do not; but I do encourage you to think critically for yourself, read scripture and pray on the matter.

It’s simple. Jesus (PBUH) did not come for the Gentiles. He came for the children of Israel. His message was for the Israelites, his teachings were for the Jews. But what did Paul do? He started preaching the words of Jesus TO THE GENTILES. The VERY group that Jesus (PBUH) was SPECIFICALLY not supposed to guide. I feel like this is the biggest red herring of Christianity. The fact that the very followers of Jesus (now) and the very people Jesus was completely dismissive of.

My parents considered themselves Christians but they made no pretense of subscribing to ostensibly Christian traditions. I’m quite sure I never heard them refer to themselves as “trinitarian” and I know they considered themselves to be emphatically monotheistic.
It wasn’t until I was fourteen that I first encountered LdS (Mormon) missionaries who referred to Father Son and Holy Ghost as “three Gods--separate and distinct.”
I consider every Hebrew rabbi to be a Bible scholar but I don’t understand why they and some other Bible scholars insist on representing all Christians as polytheistic.
I’m 73 and retired but the thing I did the longest and enjoyed the most was piano tuning.
When my dad taught me how to tune pianos, he taught me how to lay the temperament by ear and then tune one string of each of the other notes to the string one octave nearer to the temperament octave.
The next step in the tuning process was to tune the other strings of each note to the one that was already tuned. In the treble register, each note on the piano is comprised of three strings. My dad said piano tuners referred to that step in the tuning process as “tuning the trunisons”.
I don’t know of anyone who refers to the three strings of a treble note as one string (although the three strings comprise only one note). And I don’t know of anyone who refers to a treble note on a piano as three notes (although it is comprised of three strings). Oh, and by the way, when a piano tuner tunes the other two strings of a triunison to the first one he tuned, he doesn’t tune those strings so they will operate in “harmony”. He tunes them (if he knows what he is doing) so the three stings operate in unison--each of the three strings is physically affected by the other two so that, when properly tuned, the three strings vibrate at exactly the same frequency.
I don’t pretend to understand the creator of the universe. I don’t even pretend to know how other people understand his nature. But I am certain that it is a misrepresentation to say that all Christians are polytheistic, even if they choose to use a word (trinity) that seems to imply such a thing. They (at least most of them) are simply using that word because they consider it to be a Christian tradition to do so.

Apostle John, The word, “apostle”, means “sent” or “one who is sent”. If you have been “sent”, I guess you are an apostle but the only people I have known to have called themselves apostles in modern times were LdS (Mormons).
I was born in Iowa. My wife was born in Michigan. We met and were married in Iowa and our children were born in Iowa. In 1982, we moved to Salt Lake City.
I spent so much time trying to explain protestant beliefs to LdS while we were in Utah that, after we moved back to the Midwest in 2007, I referred to us as “returned missionaries”.
I haven’t found many people who seem interested in how we did “missionary work” in Utah so it may be that you won’t be either but if you found the piano illustration worthwhile, you might be interested in some of the things we learn about LdS beliefs and how we used that knowledge to tailor our language to make it easier for LdS to understand us. You may email me at r.metzger44@gmail.com if you are interested.

In Judaism we derive some of our rules through logical reasoning since the Torah and Miqra's Prophets did not leave instructions for every single situation and condition a Jew might encounter. But the essential principles do exist within Scripture, and we make inferences from these principles and commands about various matters to arrive at rules that are not spelled out in the Miqra.
You really do not have to like it, just like I do not have to be fond of how Islam has created its body of religious law beyond the Qur'an.

When the religious leaders came to the decision to put Jesus to death, they wouldn't even consider that he might be telling the truth-that he was, indeed, their Messiah. As the chief priests condemned Jesus to death, refusing to believe him, they sealed their own fate. Have you, too, refused to believe what Jesus said about himself? Your decision about Jesus could seal your own fate as well, for eternity.

      The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ
What the Bible Tells Us About the Crucifixion of Jesus
Jesus Christ, the central figure of Christianity, died on a Roman cross as recorded in Matthew 27:32-56, Mark 15:21-38, Luke 23:26-49, and John 19:16-37.
      CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS CHRIST
The Jewish high priests and elders of the Sanhedrin accused Jesus of blasphemy, arriving at the decision to put him to death. But first they needed Rome to approve of their death sentence, so Jesus was taken to Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor in Judea.
Although Pilate found him innocent, unable to find or even contrive a reason to condemn Jesus, he feared the crowds, letting them decide Jesus' fate. Stirred by the Jewish chief priests, the crowds declared, "Crucify him!"
As was common, Jesus was publicly scourged, or beaten, with a leather-thonged whip before his crucifixion. Tiny pieces of iron and bone chips were tied to the ends of each leather thong, causing deep cuts and painful bruises. He was mocked, struck in the head with a staff and spit on. A prickly crown of thorns was placed on his head and he was stripped naked. Too weak to carry his cross, Simon of Cyrene was forced to carry it for him.
He was led to Golgotha where he would be crucified. As was the custom, before they nailed him to the cross, a mixture of vinegar, gall, and myrrh was offered. This drink was said to alleviate some of the suffering, but Jesus refused to drink it.
Stake-like nails were driven through his palms and feet, fastening him to the cross where he was crucified between two convicted criminals.
The inscription above his head tauntingly read, "The King of the Jews." Jesus hung on the cross for his final agonizing breaths, a period that lasted about six hours.
During that time, soldiers cast lots for Jesus' clothing, while people passed by shouting insults and scoffing. From the cross, Jesus spoke to his mother Mary and the disciple John. He also cried out to his father, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?"
At that point, darkness covered the land. A little later, as Jesus gave up his spirit, an earthquake shook the ground, ripping the Temple veil in two from top to bottom. Matthew's Gospel records, "The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life."
It was typical for Roman soldiers to show mercy by breaking the criminal's legs, thus causing death to come more quickly. But this night only the thieves had their legs broken, for when the soldiers came to Jesus, they found him already dead. Instead, they pierced his side. Before sunset, Jesus was taken down by Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea and laid in Joseph's tomb according to Jewish tradition.
      * Christian theology teaches that the death of Jesus Christ provided the perfect atoning sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, thus making the crucifix, or cross, one of the defining symbols of Christianity.
      * Although both Roman and Jewish leaders could be implicated in the sentencing and death of Jesus Christ, he himself said of his life, "No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father." (John 10:18 NIV).
      * The curtain or veil of the Temple separated the Holy of Holies (inhabited by the presence of God) from the rest of the Temple. Only the high priest could enter there once a year, with the sacrificial offering for the sins of all the people. When Christ died and the curtain was torn from top to bottom, this symbolized the destruction of the barrier between God and man. The way was opened up through Christ's sacrifice on the cross. His death provided the complete sacrifice for sin so that now all people, through Christ, can approach the throne of grace.

I also wonder why the muslims there let it.seeing this explanation now, i assumed Maybe muslims there used to live as community. Allahu a'lam

What about, when Moses, is just about to bring the children of Israel through the Red sea," and the ANGEL OF THE LORD" who has been guiding the Israelites on their journey, was seen as "a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day," withdrew from the Israelites and went between the Egyptians and the camp of the Israelites, so that he brought darkness to the Egyptains and light to the Israelites.so neither went near the other all night long." Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea,and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land."So then, how do we have THE LORD and THE ANGEL OF THE LORD in the same passage. Two individual entities working together as ONE ? Also in GENESIS in the last sentence of chapter 1 we read , "And the SPIRIT OF GOD was hovering over the waters". if you have not noticed that's THREE IN ONE, How then, can you Rabbi Singer, be saying in good conscience that CHRISTIANS are Idol worshipers because their understanding of God is THREE OFFICES of the same ONE GOD .You also know very well, that Christians around the World are supporters of Israel, not because they
want to convert all Jewish people, but BECAUSE they see ISRAEL and its rebirth as a FULFILLMENT OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY .
I think I already know the answer to my own question, that is because of antisemitic acts of certain denominations that persecuted Jews IN THE PAST .BUT TODAY THOSE HATERS ARE LONG GONE.
    what's up with all that?

This is also our #1st commandment
    #Book of Exodus ch:20 v.3-5
3Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
    5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

As a Jew rabbi says Mosque is ok to daven like Shul. No idols there.
Here is a good thing to show pesty missionaries or xtians who denounce Islam or Judasim: heretication.info. a short list of atrocities committed by xtianity. Have them explain this if they try to say all Muslims are bad. Salom Akk Shalom

Am a Christian and I believe in one God.God of Abraham ,Isaac and Jacob.jesus is God's word that became flesh.God called him his son.the spirit of God guides us every time.
So there is ONLY one God and we can only come to know him through the son Jesus/Yeshua.
Argue not for God is all knowing and above our understanding.if God wished to have His word become flesh and call him His son,who are you to refute that
The bottom line is,pray for your soul that you may know Him and may you have mercy.
I respect muslims and Jews, let people pray to what they want.judgment day will be there and God is a very fair Judge

Mesh Loutale: Allah (SWT) is one GOD, and he has no sons or Daughters, no Partners. He has warned his creations not to associate him with a partner. But the Christians are constantly dodge the issue by referring to Jesus as the son of God. Read the Quran, Torah and even in the bible Jesus never claimed that he is the son of God. This is the ultimate Christian lye. Now all you Christians must know. The fire is awaiting you. None of you would be spared. Save your self please. Accept the oneness of God and all his profits including Jesus.

In Adam too, it is the word of God turned into flesh, but we don't worship him why is Jesus different? the universe is and everything is also the word of God and every single human being is the word of God. God does not have a son ...

SepherStar I'm also a Jew. Apparently more learned and observant than you. And I can quote from our law where you are forbidden to go into a church, or even admire it by going on a guided tour of cathedrals. Same goes for visiting cults and hare krishnah vegetarian meals.
