No human can do anything properly or 100%. Even Prophet(SAW) said there are no two hearts in a human body, so you can't love equally. But we can try your level best to provide equally or visit equally and then can say to your wives that I might be not able to do 100% but please as a Muslim forgive me. So this is a test and a solution for community's problem. Women if not get married if their parents die and have no vali, what you want them to do? sell their bodies for money?

I too didn't like polygamous men at first due to society's stigma until I started living in the west and realised that single women in Pakistan also need stability in their lives. In the west a single woman gets by but in Pakistan a woman's lifestyle is seriously cramped without a husband, society being such.

Mufti sahib should know that not every woman need lunn. Over 30% women have no clitoris. Over 15% are asexuals and over 10% are lesbians ( attracted to women). Women need an economic system from God and not the insult and humiliation of becoming one of the wives like begairat bakris with no self respect. Why mufti will not talk about the psychology of kids in this " kotha... bazari" family where their dad is humping and producing kids from other women too. Step kids will never like each other and women will never love the kids produced by other women. These kotha bazari families have no love for each other. A woman who sees her husband getting in and out of other women's rooms can never love that husband. They stay due to money and societal pressure. laanat on those people who take advantage of poor dependent women.

@@rubimalik4878 My English is way better than my Urdu as I've lived 4/5ths of my life in the west and only 1/5th in Pakistan and do forgive me if I got it wrong however I thought Mufti Sahib said that two of his wives were single at the time of marriage and two had been already married. I also thought he said that he had sent proposals to a deaf mute, one older woman and that one of his wives who he married had had a stroke. There are four reasons for which one is allowed to marry in Islam and riches and beauty are part of those reasons (as long as one obeys Islamic marriage requirements) however the best person to marry is the most righteous woman. However I have not seen anywhere in the Quran that one can only marry a second or third time if the wives are defective, these appear to be Indo-Pak human sub-rules - Mufti is still within his right to marry up to 4 wives AS LONG AS he provides and sustains them EQUALLY (with the help of Allah SWT of course). His love for any of the wives is not being asked to be equal but only his treatment, provisions and sustenance of them have to be equal - also the time given to each household should be roughly equal. Having said that, in Pak some men now think that they can start dating other women while married, romance them then marry them - definitely this is not in order. Only an arranged type marriage is allowed where mehram rules have not been broken. I wish to say something that is mostly not known by Muslims especially in Indo-Pak. In Islam MONOGAMY IS THE IDEAL. If you read the Holy Quran with meaning, throughout it has references to couples and mates that Allah has created for each other - a lifelong union with one wife is THE IDEAL in Islam - polygamy is only a concession to those who can't abide by monogamy - we do not know of the personal needs of Mufti Sahib.
