  • Closing Stitches for 1x1 Ribbing:
This method of closing stitches is used for 1x1 ribbing, where the first stitch on the knitted fabric's surface is a knit stitch, and the second is a purl stitch, alternating in this manner until the end of the row.
    Principle of Stitch Closing:
Insert the needle into the first stitch on the left needle from right to left and pull the working yarn through.
1 - Insert the needle on the inner side between the first two stitches on the left needle and bring the working yarn to the outer surface.
2 - Insert the needle into the second stitch (purl stitch) on the needle from the outer surface and pass the working yarn to the inner surface from left to right.
3 - Insert the needle from left to right into the first stitch on the outer surface and remove it.
4 - Insert the needle into the second stitch (knit stitch) on the left needle and pull the working yarn from right to left.
5 - Insert the needle into the first stitch (purl stitch) on the left needle, pull the working yarn from right to left, and remove the stitch.
Repeat steps 1 through 5 until the end of the row.
