I left most of my gourds outside on the vine and they molded. The ones indoors did a bit worse, but they all had mold. I believe the mold is part of the process of it curring.
How/where did you dry your gourds? I've been told to leave them on their vines all winter & they'd be pretty much ready to use in the spring. What did you do to get yours dried out so fast!?! I agree, use a hole saw. Thx, JC

Use a hole saw to make the holes rather than a knife. Much nicer look.

When you mount them….Is the hole supposed to be facing a certain direction?
