The slow Loris has to be one of the cutest things on the planet, right up there with a bush baby. However, I like the Loris better because it's venomous. I could be wrong, but I believe it's the only venomous mammal known. Honestly, my favorite animal is the Tardigrade, but you can't see them without an electron microscope.
Are you aware that back in the 1700's the Capybaras were classified as a "fish" by Catholic missionaries because the missionaries couldn't stop the indigenous folks from eating them on Friday? Funny thing is that I don't know if it's been officially been reclassified by the church.
