Robyn Hood Review, the new Canadian take on the Classic Robin Hood story and about as opposite the English tale you can get. This show has awful reviews, and deserves it. It's one of the worst TV shows I've ever seen, but was absolutely hilarious because the creators view of the world in Robyn Hood is the exact opposite of all real life morals. Robyn Hood is supposed to be the hero, while actually just being the villain. And the Villain? They gave him all the best lines! But what did you think of what you saw? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)
TH-cam always puts yours, Midnight's Edge's, Quartering's, and Nerdrotic's at top of "suggested" and "auto-select" display. Why not shadowly banning? Because all of you endorse "bread and circus" without confronting the more important issues of genetic contamination through multi-racial casting and forced association, plus the assault by the zevites (who work for the jesuit/black-nobility network) including the founding and promotion of hip-hop violent "gangsta" culture, for instance. Who has called for the execution of the Bobs for having the intent to soften the beachhead for our eventual demise, or of the celebs and producers for participating in child-sacrifice rituals and child sodomy? None a' ya'. Listen to Prem Rawat!
These people are so incredibly ignorant of history. A Sheriff wasn't a cop. A Sheriff was a tax collector primarily. They also were the judges and administrators. They were "Law Enforcement" sure, but in a much grander scale than a cop. In Robin Hood the main issue the people had with their Sheriff was the tax collector bit.
The fact the director called everyone racist for giving bad reactions to this comedy fest, after race swapping everyone except the baddies, is utterly hillarious. They really dont have a clue.
@@morrisdavidmullings9833 Yeah, he is proving "Director X" (Does he even realize what a stupid name that is to go by?) wrong. We have done a marvelous job eviscerating how stupid, preachy, obnoxious, unwittingly racist, and just plain bad this show is, with any personal feelings any of us may hypothetically have about the main characters' race never even entering the equation.
lmao i can the show is literally 95% that its like it was the intent of the show. black family with not only one absent father but TWO, living in the projects/hood, rioting/breaking and entering while screaming peaceful protest, kid abandons school to rap horribly on the internet and commit very poorly thought out crimes with her friends while everyone in the community believes thats a good thing, all white people in the show are portrayed as villains and are the source of all non white people's problems. im sure the list goes on i havent seen the second episode yet but this show is certainly gold if you find unintentionally written stereotypes hilarious like me. edit: just saw episode 2 correction aside from one secretary all whites and asians in the show are portrayed as villains and the source of all non white and non asian's problems also que that one guy offering the kids drugs in a tiny baggie
Here in Puerto Rico I have witnessed Food Stamps Duckflocks A perfect yearly gradient of 3-6 babies. I skip that trolley and walk to the Mart, TYVM IF ONLY THEY HAD A CONDOM JAR AT HOME...
One of the more insidious aspects of this is that most residents of so called “hoods” actually support and benefit from increased police presence to protect them from the criminals that this show tries to glorify.
Right I lived in a bad apartment complex. All we ever got was a security officer finally but I let them know I appreciated them being there. Otherwise methheads set entire apartment complexes on fire during the night.
Wait, Robyn’s family is supposed to live in “the hood”? Then why does it look so clean, bright, and up kept? Robyn’s mom and sister are even dressed quite nice. Absolute failure of a story both writing and visually.
You see the writers have put themselves into a bit of a quandary. They want us to think the villains are evil and greedy by telling us how bad the living conditions are. At the same time, they want us to know that the protagonists are righteous and upstanding so they can't show them living in squalor because that would be bad. These writers actually are perpetuating the very thing they claim to fight against: the notion that poverty is a moral failing and only people who live in clean, spacious and well maintained homes can be good.
Well you see...you are actually considering the visual storytelling, the writers, directors, probably didn't. The prop team that probably were looking at the budget and sighing in disappointment, likely said "screw it, we'll see what we can pull...i guess"
As an archer (for 27 years and since I was 3 years old) the idea that someone could go to a camp and be considered an expert is hilarious. It took me weeks to get used to switching from barebow to target recurve. You can't just grab a random bow and expect to do anything useful with it on the first shots.
What?! I hit a static target at 10 feet on my 10th try! That's basically the same as blindly shooting a drone out of the sky at night, isn't it? I mean, these people realized you don't actual skill or practice to become writers, directors, showrunners, producers, and "activists." To them, why should archery by any different? I doubt those in charge of this mess ever learned much of anything except grievances, race, and whining on social media.
Too true. I got into archery at summer camp between 4th and 5th grade, but I wasn't even good at it. It took me a few years to be good enough to have the confidence to hunt with a recurve. I get that different people have different levels of innate ability (ie: I found that I had an uncanny ability to lead targets with a handgun, which lead me into competitive shooting), but the chances of being among the top 1% of professionals after 1 day with a skill like archery is laughable.
And doesn't she actually have the arrow resting on the wrong side of the bow (left hand side, left hand draw)? I only took a few archery lessons, but I was told that the head had to be resting on the other side of the bow (i.e, left side for a right handed draw) to make the arrow go straight. Otherwise, it would veer off wildly in that direction.
Yeah, to say it’s a bit on the nose would be an understatement. The show’s messaging is something you’d have seen pre-St. FIoyd riøts, basically 2016 era bIm rhetoric. The entire thing feels super dated, as if we’ve discovered it in a time capsule.
Do you want to know something really funny? A lot of the 'hype' around this I've seen is the claim this is the 'first' female Robin Hood. And that's not even true. Kazue Ikura, a woman, voiced an admittedly male Robin Hood in a 1990 Italian-Japanese co-produced animated series. And Aimee Castle literally played ANOTHER 'Robyn Hood' in the 1998 British-Canadian co-production Back to Sherwood. So this version, depending how you count it, would actually be the third woman to play the character.
The thing that I love about this show is how blissfully ignorant the creators and writers are about pretty much everything. They don't understand the folklore of Robin Hood, law enforcement, the "hoods", millennials/ gen z, combat choreography, or even how people actually talk in the real world.
Because the people who are writing these modern woke shows who grew up under modern liberal parenting and went to modern woke liberal universities did not properly develop emotionally or psychologically. They are basically adult children and that is why nothing they write makes sense to normal functional adults. That is why it feels like everything is written by immature inexperienced children because that is effectively the case.

Aspirational black characters when I grew up: Philip and Vivian Banks dragged themselves up by their bootstraps to become a lawyer and judge, and a university professor, with a nice house in Bel-Air. Aspirational black characters now: I'm a criminal, my apps aren't making me enough money, my mother has to buy my condoms, maybe I can live with my homeless dad. "And finds her, red-handed, stealing the golden coins." Why did the Super Mario Bros. music start playing in my head?
Sherwood Forest was around 100,000 acres in the 1200s. There is a reason that it would be hard to find a band of outlaws within it, using only what men could reconnoiter with their own eyes. This Sherwood is ONE FREAKING BUILDING in an era of camera phones, CCTV cameras, and drones. And Robyn and her gang seem to be about as quiet about their criminal enterprises as a drum kit falling down a staircase. One of many, many ways the show seems to ignore the realities of its "modern" setting as convenient...
@@BigDaddyJinx Heh. I know the term gets thrown around a lot, lately, but for the heroine of a show like this to succeed against all reason and sense is actually firmly *within* expectations by this point.
@@sterling7 Oh you and I both know this. I'm all for subverting my expectations TO A DEGREE...and for suspension of disbelief TO A DEGREE...but it seems that in the past 10-15 years studios have taken obscene liberties with each. As soon as you break my immersion, I'm done. One exception being The Blacklist with Spader...far too many times I have looked at the TV screaming "THAT'S NOT HOW COMPUTERS OR TECHNOLOGY WORKS!" and then followed that up with a "Fcuk this show!" but I get that they have to make it sound and look all tech-like in order for them to solve anything, so I get it. It's been that way with tech especially since forever so they get a pass for that. But in general, when a show suspends my disbelief far too far or subverts my expectations to absurd lengths and breaks my immersion, then I'm done and I'm turning it off. There's "dumb fun popcorn media" and there's "OMFG WHAT AM I EVEN WATCHING RIGHT NOW?!"
The glowing masks are the same sort of brazen liability as sagging pants when the action starts. You know... I'm getting really sick of being /told/ by characters how smart other characters are in these shows for doing really basic things which are easily countered. The writers can't show smart characters doing smart things because they aren't remotely smart.
“Go live with your father”. Did they already forget they pointed out he has no place of his own? Her mom just told her to go live on the street as a homeless person 🤣
The most ironic thing about this comedy is that it plays into every offensive racial and sexuality stereotype AND if you don't embrace it YOU'RE the "hater". Was surprised Robyn wasn't also played as an Eskimo in a wheelchair.
I hate the term cultural appropriation, but if it was a true thing, this is what it would look like. Taking part of a culture and taking the piss out of it.... this show is looks terrible, lol.
A woman who weighs, at a guess, 140 lbs kicked a man who weighs, id guess 210 pounds and in 30 pounds of gear, in the knee, and he went flying. And that’s not the least believable thing in this show.
As soon as I heard her bail was set at 30,000 dollars and was deemed a flight risk after she was shot and paralyzed from the waist down, I lost it! 🤣🤣🤣
FYI: As a Canadian, I automatically avoid all content excreted by the government. Just like our media is a propaganda tool...our so-called culture and entertainment are merely woke graft.

Congratulations to X Director for making a show that almost makes Disney look competent in comparison. I didn't think it possible, but now I'm a believer.
I do find it funny that they record their crimes and make it easier to find them, because there has been an uptick of criminals posting their crimes on social media That's about the only realistic aspect of this show lol
They also make terrible music called "Drill" and they have a map of London which shows "their territory" and a list of who is/isn't each other's rivals and yet London police have been unable to stop them.
It is amazing how insulting this show is to minorities. I can't believe this trash was approved every step of the way, without someone ever explaining how bad of an idea this was.
If they had just called it "Robyn's Hood" it would have avoided people complaining about it being nothing like the source material, while also accurately describing the whole show's premise. 😂
ALong those lines, another reason why I was overjoyed when the 'Batwoman' show was cancelled was because, if it wasn't, it's pretty much guaranteed the show's writers would have made an episode geared around throwing a temper tantrum over 'Roe v. Wade' being overturned that summer. Like, maybe, an EEEEEEEEEVIIIIIIIIILLLLLLL "Christian" church's members have been kidnapping a bunch of pregnant women who were contemplating abortions, and holding them captive in order to force them to carry their babies to term and give birth, so then Batwoman has to swoop in and rescue them and give a hammy lecture about "Choice" while escorting them to a local abortuary.
@@gagelindell271 I suppose I am, but I believe it is justifiable because A) 'Robyn Hood' has a TON in common with 'Batwoman.' The two shows are cut from the same rotted, toxic cloth. B) My reply dealt with the main topic comment you made, imagining how an obnoxiously woke show would handle the topic of abortion.
23:30 as an American soldier, the way they have his uniform is hilarious. The camo is OCP/multicam, not the Canadian camo. He's wearing a patrol cap INDOORS for some reason, his left name tape says "ARMY" (not specifying what country) and his right name tape has an initial in it? You have only ONE name on your name tape and it's always your last name. If you have a hyphenated name, they choose the first one, or they combine the two without the hyphen (I've seen on soldier with the name Felicianosantiago on her name tape). And worst of all, no rank on the chest fuzzy. What, he got demoted to an E-1 PVT on his way back from deployment? These showrunners are complete idiots.
Considering the "Director X" of it all, plus the cast and THE MESSAGE, I am shocked this got bad reviews. Aren't these critics worried they might be accused of misogynoir?
The people who make these shows are secret Disparu fans, they con execs into giving them money to fund content for Disparu, i'm sure of it. Well done "Director X", I haven't laughed this much for quite a while.
7 minutes in, and I'm already rooting for the 'villain.' Shows like these really need more 'Japanese entertainment.' At least then we could get a reason to hate the villains (like them being a 'happiness cult' out to enslave the world)
I always find it funny that the parties of high taxation have appropriated Robin Hood as their role model... like, they couldn't choose a less fitting character.

@@legatobluesummers3211 I hadn't thought of it that way. Luckily Canada is overwhelming woke now (think Disney woke on steroids) that we should be able to produce decades of cringe worthy shows for everyone to mock relentlessly.
Always love when these stories set up these corrupt authority characters who are looking for any excuse to violate people's rights and have the plot powers to practically excuse/cover-up everything, but when faced with people actually breaking the law, breaking and entering or throwing shit at them, suddenly they're just like 'Damn it, we don't have any grounds to do anything about it. I didn't go to corrupt cop university to use my gun unjustifiably.'
Usually, when the “good guy” decides to commit crimes, there’s scenes where they struggle with the moral conundrum. They’ve been forced into this by circumstance, not choice. The crimes are also targeted specifically at those with more power who are engaged in corruption or wrongdoing. For instance, in the old guy Morgan Freeman bank heist movie, the characters specifically target the bank that shut down their factory and is refusing to honor their pensions, leaving them high and dry after years of working “for the man”. According to them, it is their money by right, the bank is just refusing to honor their pension. Or in the 93 Robin Hood movie, the sheriff has lied about Robin’s family, driving him into the woods, where he learns that the sheriff is also abusing the peasants. With no other way to stop him, Robin Hood begins a guerrilla warfare, targeted not at “the rich” in general but specifically at the blood money from traitorous nobles seeking to support the sheriff in his bid to steal the throne. He also is just stopping the flow of money, not harming the nobles. This, this just dumps all of that in the trash and is like “crime good” 🙄
Going In Style is the Morgan Freeman bank heist movie. I liked how, in that one, the one guy was against the idea of the robbery even when the others were all in until he realized just how severely the bank and the factory were screwing them over. It's like...yes we might toy with the concept but it really does take something that dire for the average person to finally tip over that edge. It used to be, with movies, that bad actions absolutely could not be rewarded, like how the Dean Martin Oceans 11 or the original Italian Job didn't end up with the money at the end. Then it was "well they can get away with it but the crime has to be against someone even *worse*" like the 2000s remakes of those movies. Now, apparently, it's just "do crime." :\
It's almost like social engineering, to cause a certain demographic to continuously carry out "righteous looting and crime". "Reperations" some even had the audacity to call it...
Got to love how tech-savvy the writers of this are, when they say they "wiped down" the data on a video. When they upload it, the police will be able to see it, know when and where it took place as they were there, look at the account that uploaded it, and figure out who to arrest from there.
Hold up. A protest group shows up at a high rise, and there's no media there? The protesters would have called the media to let them know they were going there, because the whole point is to cause a disturbance to get media attention. I mean, of all of the unrealistic things in this movie, that one got me.
For real, the musical manifestation of the worst of black culture. A manifestation that encompasses some of the worst, if not, the worst manifestations of every one of the Seven Deadly Sins in the Western world.
The only time I ever heard rap that was actually good ironically was also in a Robin Hood movie; Robin Hood Men in Tights. Difference between that classic film and this should show, is that the actual intended jokes in that movie are actually funny.
My fear is future writers, movie/tv show creators will grow up watching so much crud like this and think this is the level you need to be at to be a Writer/Creator. Where as my generation grew up watching, idolising and learning from some of the greatest writers and directors we have ever seen when the medium was at its peak and even with that inspiration there are only a few from my generation went onto reaching a similar level of the craft. It just keeps getting watered down with every generation.
At 25:20 (roughly) the guy raises his gun and there's a sound of a revolver hammer clicking. On what looks like a glock, that has no hammer (it uses a striker) and cannot make that sound. They may as well have dubbed in a shotgun pump sound.
The absolute bone-headed irony (as many have pointed out) is that Robin Hood was against excessive taxation and government over-reach. The very things this show's creators champion.

Robin Hood stole from the king who overly taxed his people, and returned the money back to them. I get the feeling Robyn isnt gonna be targeting the same types of targets and i fear to know who the money will be given to.
not just the king, the nobility people who by birthright felt entitled to take what they want to support their lifestyle: houses, food, services all paid for by extracting from other people's labor. If the peasants complain just call on the king for a show of force. In the worst cases nobles would beat, kill and rape the commoners, and be shocked at retaliation
I can imagine the writers wearing a COVID mask, on their phones all day on social media and afraid to leave their apartment because they’re afraid of the real world.
Throughout this entire show did the rich guy or sheriff actually do anything bad? Yes a deputy shot the mom as she & the entire building resisted arrest, but beyond that seems like the “bad guys” were always just reacting to the criminal acts done by the “good guys”
Exactly! btw, I find it very fitting that, in the beginning, we learn that one of Robyn's not- so- merry men is nicknamed "Buzzard." Because, you see, nicknaming yourself after a scavenging carrion bird that preys on dead and dying animals totally sounds like something that a person interested in helping the poor and downtrodden would do!
I've seen a few things called out in the comments, like people trying to deny that Robyn Hood and her friends are criminals. From what I understand watching the intro, the characters broke into a construction site to film a music video and the police were called. Yeah it's not a serious crime like a felony, but it's still a crime. And when the police responded the characters began fighting back, which is assaulting police officers. They fled from the police, which is another crime. And then they destroyed the drone which I'm sure is destruction of government property. The show goes on to portray the police and the Prince family as corrupt and violent, especially with how the police reacted to a peaceful protest or shooting Robyn Hood's mom, but that's another issue entirely. I'm not a legal expert but I doubt it retroactively legalizes all crimes those police investigated, at least not automatically unless you can prove some sort of malice or corruption involved. Also I've seen people arguing that the original Robin Hood was exactly the same but no one ever criticized him as a criminal. The original wasn't an egalitarian thief. When Prince John temporarily held the throne he mismanaged the kingdom and drastically increased taxes, so Robin Hood was robbing the rich to prevent Prince John from collecting those taxes, just making Prince John's life miserable until King Richard came back. Robin Hood was later spun into a hero of the people and the egalitarian thief has been used as the basis of a few characters in fiction, both heroes and villains. Off the top of my head, Adam West's Batman had a villain named the Archer whose whole deal was robbing the rich and giving to the poor. The Archer was portrayed as a villain, albeit with a lot of campiness to his character and the show as a whole. Vi, Powder, and their friends in Arcane were also thieves who were robbing the richer upper city so they could earn more for themselves and, presumably, their poorer undercity, but Arcane wasn't trying to deny it. Their crime at the start of the series kicked off a lot of the plot and the consequences of their actions were felt throughout the entire show.
You talk about the 'original' Robin Hood, apparently unaware that the Robin Hood figure was a few centuries old by the time Richard was born. The iteration you're referring to might be the most well-known, but it's hardly the original.
@@boobah5643 I guess this is picking apart semantics, but I think we're both correct. The "original" I'm referencing isn't actually the original legend. But the TV show includes characters based on characters who weren't in the original Robin Hood legend but were added in later, like Friar Tuck and Prince John. So with regards to the TV show, the more popular iteration of Robin Hood is the original material. Kind of like this: Spaceballs is a parody of Star Wars, and Star Wars was originally inspired by the film The Hidden Fortress, but The Hidden Fortress isn't the original source material for Spaceballs.
Everything is race and gender swap and girl bosses..any white male is the villain or the pathetic butt of the joke . Imagine if the guy was talking to the woman cop like that ,NVM kicking her ? I'm fairly confident ChatGPT wrote the whole thing. It sounds like how it writes and designs stories without a proper writer to get it back on track. 😂😂😂
Aren't protests supposed to be held OUTSIDE on the sidewalk in front of the company your protesting. Then the news cameras come by you broadcast your grievances. It's perfectly legal. I've never heard of people bursting into a lobby to protest. Trespassing isn't legal.
It happens sometimes. Normally they are given a warning to leave. I don't know about Canada but most USA states require a verbal request to leave before it can be considered trespassing, if there is no posted signs. If they remain or return they can be arrested.
It amazes me how many people have mistaken the Robin hood message. Robin hood never stood for "Steal from the rich and give to the poor". He stood for "Return the wealth that was stolen unfairly". The first one is a super modern take which pretty much undermines Robin's entire story. Robin at least in the early tales he know of was a Yeoman. A minor noble. Basically he had a small plot of land and maybe a house. Robin went against the state because he witnessed so many of his fellow countrymen being overtaxed unfairly by a tyrant on the throne. He went and stole the taxes that were taken unfairly from the poor not stealing from rich people in general. If a merchant was rich and earned their money through hard work then Robin didn't take from them. He had a firm strict belief about that. The only reason he might go after them is if they stole from the poor. Of course not even merchants were safe from the over taxation so it's a bit of a moot point. The merchants would have barely anything worth stealing. Another point I want to clarify poor in medieval terms was a step away from death. There was no state to house or feed you. If you were poor in those times you were likely going to die from dehydration, disease or the cold before hunger is really a problem. The only saving grace for the poor was the church who weren't exactly the nicest people if you were a non believer or of a different faith. The church was also under taxation in those days so they also weren't doing well in terms of wealth either. Robin had no choice but to resort to the life of a criminal. If he could have done it any other way I'm sure he would have but shockingly a rather robust legal system for these things wasn't created yet.
This isn't necessarily true? "Robin Hood" as a figure, like most folkloric figures, is subject to numerous interpretations and changes over the years. The earliest copies of Robin's ballads talk about his antagonistic relationship with the Sheriff of Nottingham, his "steal from the rich, give to the poor" and him being a devout christian despite being an outlaw. But him being a noble and his patriotism of King Richard were all later additions in the 16th century publishing of his tales. Which, of course, given that widespread public education wasn't really a thing, and thus, most likely read by the upper to upper middle class, you could see why they made Robin a member of the nobility rather than just some random outlaw. Much more palatable for wealthy readers to make Robin someone who steals from "bad" nobles rather than rich people in general. But Robin has always originated as hero of the lower classes and peasantry. Also, yeoman as a title for minor nobiity was, again, more a 16th century thing. Like, there's a reason why Robin becomes an outlaw for illegal poaching. It's a reflection of the political and social unrest amongst the peasantry when new laws that were created that made hunting animals like deer illegal. The show definitely still sucks though.

The most funny thing, is that right now in canada there's this catch and release law. That pretty much allows the canadian law system to just let people go under "probation" for a crime they just committed. Its why canada's crime rate has skyrocketed. You could get caught doing a crime in the morning released at noon get caught again, released in the evening and do another crime afterwards. Its also why we have criminals walking the streets commiting even more crimes, because our law system is a joke. So them fighting like this is the most hilarious thing in this show.

This is because the agave is roasted, _just like robyn is being right now._ In addition, unlike tequila, it is made from several different varieties of agave, mainly espardin. How to drink Mezcal? Mezcal can be drunk straight or used as an ingredient in various cocktails. Traditionally, it is served in *SMALL* cups made of glass, wood or ceramic. There are also many classic drinks that can be adapted to include Mezcal.

Immature, incoherent, chaotic, horribly contrived, etc. A collection of memes, bad hood tropes, and Portsider talking points made into a series. This is proof that there is little hope for television.

Also I could’ve rewritten it in manga form. Maybe make it set in an alternate version of Canada where maybe that land became a set of northern US states and they live in some rundown projects. So lawless that the cops would chase criminals that end up living in there and need drones and extra cop numbers to get there. For Sherwood Forest projects, it’s the most sustainable housing area that it has its own currency and makes the dollar look like a joke. So very stable and yet endangered by criminal gangs that roam the projects and John Prince the real estate mogul who wants to buy Sherwood Forest and turn it into new condominium apartments for the middle and upper class people from the larger city of Mercia.
Just as an aside - there are no Aethelstan gold coins. Those were pennies (look like London mint ones) which would have been silver. Still rare, but "knowing a guy" isn't going to get you far. They're a very specialist purchase.
It boggles the mind how many people must have thought this show was good in order for it to get made. Imagine being in the pitch meeting! The writers room! The people listening to auditions 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm imagining everyone nodding awkwardly, until someone quietly says "it's kinda shite." And then the room erupts into yells of racism and homophobia as they gang up on the one who opened his mouth.
Maybe we should suggest it to Pitch Meeting. "So how are they going to get in? I imagine it'll be incredibly difficult with the place being essentially a fortress.." "Actually it's gonna be super-easy, barely an incovenience" "Oh really?" "Yeah, they just find a unlocked and unguarded door and walk inside" "Oh.... but this place has lots of cameras, right?" "Nobody's watching them though" "So the impenetrable fortress has an unlocked door with no guarding it and the cameras don't have anyone watching them. Are there ANY guards patrolling?" "Nope" "So, so, so, so... how is this a fortress again?" "Well it's where the bad guys hang out!"
@@thePsiMatrix XD You'd think these writers would at least draw a doodle of the building and say "Alright, what can we put in the characters path so they have to show the barest effort...A locked door?"

the drone would have had recorded the interaction until it smashed. it would have also had memory for location and altitude. The know where it was hit and based on altitude and/or recording know the floor. They had probable cause due to the assault earlier to just go in and detain everyone. it is embarrassing to humanity the lengths of suspension of disbelief they need to make these shows.
Many drones, especially expensive ones, can be tracked in case they're stolen, or you lose it somewhere while flying it. So the cops should be able to track where this drone is, especially since that lady sheriff said that that done was worth more than their yearly salary. With it being that expensive, then it should definitely have gps tracking on it.
That wasn't even needed as the criminals yelled and threw eggs at the cop from the balcony. Them shooting the drone down should only have given him even more reason to storm the building, and if he was too afraid to do so, call in reinforcements.
Disparu I've enjoyed your other videos but this has to be the best. They left you so much material to laugh ones ass off. This show truly sucks but it takes itself seriously so that is hilarious. This show is a perfect example of the entitlement that is endemic in the culture. Entitled to break the law anytime, entitled to steal, entitled to complain when consequences for their crimes occur. It's just so stupid. Thanks for the review.
You are currently over 72x better than the "music video" aka "their first crime in the series" and still climbing... And you did it without involving the police! Fantastic!
This seems like it would actually be fun to watch with a group of friends to just make fun of it the entire time. Otherwise I’d just avoid this because there’s no way I’d put myself through this by myself. The pain must be shared with others😂

These people are so incredibly ignorant of history. A Sheriff wasn't a cop. A Sheriff was a tax collector primarily. They also were the judges and administrators. They were "Law Enforcement" sure, but in a much grander scale than a cop. In Robin Hood the main issue the people had with their Sheriff was the tax collector bit.

One of the more insidious aspects of this is that most residents of so called “hoods” actually support and benefit from increased police presence to protect them from the criminals that this show tries to glorify.
No they don't. They actively protect their criminal elements. One of the main reasons police can't root out gangs.
Yeah there’s more black people that support police than don’t, they’re just terrified to go against the mob. Kind of ironic isn’t it
Right I lived in a bad apartment complex. All we ever got was a security officer finally but I let them know I appreciated them being there. Otherwise methheads set entire apartment complexes on fire during the night.
I would not be surprised that the writers most likely never stepped foot in any of these places.
No, the people in the hoods protect the criminals, because the criminals are the kids of the people that live in the hoods.
I really think they missed an opportunity not calling the show "Robbin' the 'Hood"
Probably because that would imply that they are robbing the poor, instead of the rich.
That was a Sublime album, not their best work but far better than this
@@casualcausalityycame here to say this. Well done.

...character's name is Rob.

I saw you come in late last night. I hope you weren't going barebow. I refilled the jar.
Didn't you know it's a fact that English longbowmen (and women) learnt their skills at a weekend camp?
And doesn't she actually have the arrow resting on the wrong side of the bow (left hand side, left hand draw)? I only took a few archery lessons, but I was told that the head had to be resting on the other side of the bow (i.e, left side for a right handed draw) to make the arrow go straight. Otherwise, it would veer off wildly in that direction.
The MESSAGE is so strong in this show. Very hard to believe it isn’t a parody until you remember that woke idiots were involved.

This is one of those shows where I would rather watch a 1 hour review roasting it then spend 30 minutes watching the actual show.

@@Adamguy2003 Easy…..you are making a jump from one show to another.

They are lazy to the point of not even googling “Canadian Army Uniform”

@@vertigo2894 They are accusing these people of being criminals, and rightly so, I may add! They are thugs, lowlives.
This, this just dumps all of that in the trash and is like “crime good” 🙄
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves came out in 91, not 93.
Doesn't negate the excellent points you made, though, of course.

Hold up. A protest group shows up at a high rise, and there's no media there? The protesters would have called the media to let them know they were going there, because the whole point is to cause a disturbance to get media attention.

Exactly!
btw, I find it very fitting that, in the beginning, we learn that one of Robyn's not- so- merry men is nicknamed "Buzzard."
Because, you see, nicknaming yourself after a scavenging carrion bird that preys on dead and dying animals totally sounds like something that a person interested in helping the poor and downtrodden would do!
"The museum can't have my mouse either" LOL! You should be writing shows Disparu.
@ankuriboh That's fair, despite how strained I find your attempted illustration. Then again, it got the idea across, so strained or not, it worked.

I don't know about Canada but most USA states require a verbal request to leave before it can be considered trespassing, if there is no posted signs.

Give this man an award for best explanation of the story of Robin Hood. Well stated.
And coincidentally, the Magna Carta, a charter of rights (not the first as is often claimed) was actually signed by the hated King John.
Wow, well put

Many drones, especially expensive ones, can be tracked in case they're stolen, or you lose it somewhere while flying it. With it being that expensive, then it should definitely have gps tracking on it.
Don't governments usually put trackers on assets that have value? Actual Police would 100% know the location of that drone.
Thats why we are in Disparu reviews, to have the joy of the shows together
I don't know, from the clips of "music" he played, I really don't think I could watch this all the way through, lol. My poor ears!
@@marychocolatefairy 😂😂😂😂
EFAP is great for that!
Make MST3K great again!
It speaks volumes to Disparu's competence as a reviewer that his transformation of the material is what's keeping me engaged...
Next episode: Watch Robyn struggle to care for her flight risk mother while earning money to refill the "mistake avoidance jar."
Perhaps her mom can help her launch her music video career; she has the street cred for it now.
They see her rollin'. They hatin'. Patrollin' like they gon' catch her ridin' dirty.
