Those covers for the load are a great idea, I'd like to have been able to have some of those for some of the jobs I used to do. Had a 30 minute trip on silage once, and a 1hr and 15min trip for grain during a harvest, but nothing as long as this, a 90 minute trip from field to store is a long trip!
What speed do you guys drive? I know those Fendts are limited to 60 and the Deere's to 50 or 40 in some cases, but what about the load? Not all trailers are certified for those speeds at full load to my knowledge. Can you drive at 60 legally? if not, do you do it anyways?
Andy Hass because in the netherlands everybody is allowed to get there tractor driver’s license at 16th bithday en those cheaper then somebody who is 30 for exemple
they don´t use trucks for many reasons.. field conditions, small farms, overloading procedures, which means more costs, expansive truck licences for employees. and most of all.. time... these tractors drive nearly as fast if not faster then fully loaded trucks.
Two hour round trip?? Something's wrong with the logistics train if that is the case. Sounds like way too much road running for the tractor trailer combination to be good for anyone.
all those heads of corn fell off the truck and they just ignored them!!! goodness, i would have loved to collect them, take them home and freeze them for a slow use
All the ranchers in the world should be appreciated. You don’t know how many hours they have to work to get everything ready.
The camera shots you get are so gratifying. I feel like a kid again, in awe at these huge machines. Really well done. Thank you for sharing.
Ok

How much fuel does a tractor of that size spend to drive on a road for two hours. I'm surprised they are not using trucks for that part of the job.
FuriousZenMaster 30-70 litres a hour and a truck wouldn't get on the field and the trailers are just as big anyway
How the tractors get on a scale
they drive on it, tractor scales are quite large^^
This silage is for feeding animals right? Or something else?
