Yeah thanks. I think FID it deserves more credit for this one. They do have a reputation but this is nice.
FID, wouldnt go near them with a barge pole, very poor customer service, they lie and the parts are poorly machined and do not fit! Avoid like the plague, dont buy FID like i did, i learned the jard way spending £1500 on hop ups with 90% of thrm being poor quality, and then they ignkre you, i jad to open a paypal dispute to get my money back, FID are a poor company, avoid.

I have a 2019 Dragon Hammer Voltz, and It's a great truck. Had a bunch of minor issues that they seem to have fixed in this version. Its very easy to roll over when turning at speed, but with great ground clearance and huge tires, it doesn't have to slow down for much in a straight line. I love driving it.
Rolling over when turning at speed with a solid axel is normal.
It looks so slow

I've seen these on ali,they look fantastic and seem legit,just a tad out my price range,but definitely sweet,theres even a hydraulic brake kit option

It looks amazing! The biggest thing I have are the WLTOYS 104072 Y 104019, here in Paraguay they are quite expensive but I have a lot of fun (before breaking them)

Do those 4 wheel disc brakes actually work?
Indeed they do. That is the optional mechanical brake system. It was installed but not yet fully operational at the time of this video.

@@bradkalman2353 it has a HW Max 4 combo installed with a 560KV motor.
Apparently capable of upto 106kph (65.5mph) but we havn’t yet measured this top speed.

You can search AliExpress for this RC and you will find one of their distributors for pricing and sales .
It looks cool and the specs look good, but I honestly wasn't impressed with the run video for that price. Great review as usual tho.

I had a 1/5th scale truck and I sold it because it was dangerous to run around people. I was worried about breaking someone's leg.

They are dangerous! that truck would shoot rocks 25 feet behind it at head height. You get used to it being that fast but if you ever make a small mistake you can and will almost hit yourself or someone else or put it under a car or hit a tree. I have been racing RC stuff for 30 years btw. I didn't like to run it around anyone and it had to be a large open area.
Well DUH, none of the rc companies recommend running any rc car around people or close to buildings etc. Glad you finally figured that out!@davidbrennan5
So no track use, ok that sounds like fun. Can't take it to the beach or a park (people) or run it in a parking lot, such a great RC vehicle and the best part is carrying that 20lb+ truck around when the battery goes flat or having the body fly off every 3 minutes. When the transmitter battery gets weak it goes 50+MPH in a straight line, great safety features. I really miss it lol.

Someone would have to be crazy...or, a complete idiot...to pay that much money for this. At the same time, the company has to be crazy (or, again, idiots) to produce a vehicle weighing this much, yay having a chassis made from lower-grade 6061 aluminum. At that weight, ALL aluminum parts should have been 7075. Even if i were working to spend that amount on an off-road large-scale RC, I'd never but this piece of garbage.
FID is a horrible company.
