Mas bule, Indonesia is not a perfect country but i hope you and your family always be happy to be here.
Our bad things in here is too much chaos, especially in Jakarta and Bandung, if you want to find public lavatories, most of them are not clean enough, except in malls. In public area you also will find some people do not care to put trash in its place and also some of our regional government do not give trash facilities properly.
Only one or two region leader who concern to trash management well.
But the nature of Indonesia is so beautiful. And you will find so many kinds of different food from Sabang to Merauke.
We have healthy foods and also junk foods.
So, enjoy your trip in Indonesia.

From what I see, This is old money gated community Neighborhood. Upper Middle class back in the days, maybe around 80's or 90's. Obviously some still have money some don't. The one with money renovated their house to new style and upgrade their car.
The video is fun to see because its remind me to my childhood days when many houses look like this.

This neighborhood is not too shabby.. there are other residence that are more well maintained, more proper for your kids to bike around and play. But this one will do too! The road and the cluster is big.. and not so many cars going around. And look private too!
In my personal opinion.. the neighborhood vibe seems like not warm enough.. like, there is a vibe of coldness. But that's just me. Wherever it is, I hope you find a welcoming and warm people as you settle in here ❤ and fun, kind children as your children playmates
I hope you can explore other housing clusters/area. They are quite different from ine another. And each have different vibes. Some are warm, some feel old, some feel new, some feel like expensive - but not down to earth. Some feel expensive - and make you feel grounded 😄
And it's really refreshing to see your kids curiosity and happiness! I hope this pure energy is protected ❤
A word of caution. Generally, indonesia people are not blunt and honest. They like to speak in codes.. or I say passive aggresive language. They can look polite in front of you, but have not so good intention behind it. But even so, some of them are genuine and nice people
I just really hope you always meet the right people ❤
