Hello Masterchef...another great video and what a nifty bit of kit that is...I'll get one and give it a try. Like you say, better and cheaper than gas.. That chicken stir fry made me feel hungry..who needs Gordon Ramsay..😀 Take care Mark Take care everyone 🤠
You could get a USB rechargeable fan to put on the side of the cooking thing😂 and to cut the chicken pieces I use a pair of scissors ✂️ saves you cutting onto your frying pan 🥘😊
Trangia should be paying you 😂😂 looks an amazing system would 100% get one if I ever manage to get to vanlife. At the moment it's my backup plan 😂 your videos are great 👍
My Trangia 25 should be here tomorrow. I walk a lot in the forest where I live. Sometimes, this can be 4/6 hours. A hot meal on these walks will be bloody fantastic in the winter.
Trangia are great. Designed for the army I believe. Do you have it screwed down? One thing, olive oil is healthy as long as it is below its smoke point, after that you get unhealthy aldehydes. Coconut oil is better for high heat cooking.
Thank you for this video! As you mention not drinking boiled water from aluminium. I would also be weary of cooking with olive oil on high heat. Olive oil has a very low burn point and will oxidise which massively reduces its anti inflammatory effect and can possibly be not good for health. I would consider using beef tallow or coconut oil as they have a much higher burn point.
I 100% get you with the stainless kettle, I prefer stainless pans also and do my best to avoid aluminium and even non stick because of the potential health risks. Stainless cookware seems to last longer as well if looked after.
my day isn't complete until this bloke's called me a darlin'
Trangias are fantastic I’ve used mine for 42 years with the spirit burner I use the 27 series

Could this provide heat at all? 🤔
Thank you Mark for another amazing video
Burning alcohol can spill in the van. Gas is safer but keep tanks outside.
Just started watching your vids and the cooking system you have just shown is great.
