I lived in Norway for years, and you're right, Ale; cosmetics are WAY more expensive in Europe. So I always bought mine while on vacation in the U.S. What a beautiful video, beautiful tour!
Loving the more walking around with the camera style. Since we’re pretty much living vicariously through you 😂, really enjoy seeing the scenery/places in Spain 😊
Absolutely love your videos from Spain. I’m so thankful you are sharing your life with us. It’s so interesting and inspiring. Take care and thank you so much!!!❤
Hey Ale! I'm hearing about horrific flooding in parts of Spain i.e. around Barcelona...I hope you're nowhere close to that. Have seen some footage and it is unreal. Loving these types of videos, almost like we're there. I don't know much about cosmetics admittedly LOL. Thank you for sharing these adventures as you get settled into your new life !!
I enjoy watching u such a,different style life. Ur on the go alot of the time. Ur amazing from when u were in the states getting all ur paperwork, packing, moving...u make me tired. Love u
I’m surprised Sephora is more expensive there I went to the one in Marbella ( La Cañada shopping) and everything was way less than here in Boston.cant wait to go back , keep making videos of Alicante love them !!
My dad was from Spain so I visited a lot, but I never really got used to having a big “comida” at lunchtime, then having “merienda” at dinner time! And forget about those 9 pm dinners!
Sephora is a French shop but they have quite a few brands that are from the US and I guess that is why many products are more expensive there. I never buy anything there unless there is some sale or I find a discount code😅 but keep in mind that there are quite a few shops online where you can find most of the brands much cheaper than in Sephora. Obviously not all brands are in all shops but depending on the products and brands that you usually look for, try checking some sites online like Primor, Maquillalia, Lookfantastic, Notino, Douglas, Beauty Bay, Druni, just to mention a few that I tend to use. For example I always find in some of these shops products from The Ordinary, or expensive (European too) brands like Clarins, Dior, Estee Lauder, Nars, Anastasia, MAC, etc.
Glad you and your family wasn’t affected by bloods. Enjoy seeing Spain through your eyes. Thanks for sharing. I live in US-in Ohio in the country. God Bless
Hey Ale! I've been really enjoying your vlogs, as an European myself it feels so relatable 🥰 i hope you and your family are okay and that you aren't affected by the flood that's been happening ❤️
Hi Ale!!! Love today's video. I have been following along in your journey for some time now (since at least when you were living in Texas). I was wondering if you know when you will be back to flying yet?? I know it's been some time since I have seen a flight vlog (besides when you had to go do your training). Also wondering how you are able to have this extended amount of time off from flying? Is there a minimum you have to fly per month or even per year to stay an active flight attendant? I know your seniority really helps with all this but just some random questions. :)
I ❤ your new videos. Seems like being in Spain is good for you too. SO INTERESTING. Love the foods, the shopping, the architecture, etc. Your average day is SO interesting. 🎉
So good to see you this morning ... had many thoughts of you and your family upon hearing of the flooding. Love, love, love seeing and being a part of your amazing adventure, love getting to know the culture through your eyes ... 💚
Well, because I didn't know/remember where Ale and her family were located and not knowing Spain as much as I would like ... catastrophic flooding in the Valecia area of Sedavic ... I'm in the state of Minnesota in the USA ...
Hi Ale! If you want a cheaper alternative to Sephora in Spain, go to Perfumaria Primor - they have loads of locations all over Spain. I visited a branch in Alicante a couple of years ago and it was great!
Thank you, Ale - I love watching your videos, because I'm a Kiwi (NZer) looking at marrying my long-term Quebecois partner (6yrs now) and moving to Canada (we both had young kids from previous relationships when we first met, who we couldn't leave - we had both tried so hard in previous relationships, but things turned cold 😓). It feels really scary - I've never lived away from NZ. But all your tips, and seeing you coping with a family, day to day, really helps. I hope all goes well for you, as I'm sure it will ❤🤗
Good luck on your journey. I live just outside of Toronto, Ontario. I think you will embrace Canada. Quebec gets a little more snow than we have. Quebec is so pretty. All of Canada is lovely. 🇨🇦🍁
Great to see you so happy Ale. You look wonderful. The town you and George visited was so lovely. I did enjoy your shopping too. I hope by now your sons are over their colds. I think you are really settling in well. 🙏💖🇨🇦
If those cosmetics are being imported it's definitely going to be more! And then for smaller imported items the price always feels like a lot I've really been enjoying your vlogs in Spain! Been a nice lil escape
George seems to join you often for chores and appointments during usual workday hours. Does he work from home? Is that as common in Spain as it is here in the US?
Yes, but some things are not sold at the pharmacies, which is why I went to Sephora, where it is sold. I was just comparing Sephora in Spain to the US Sephora
I lived in Norway for years, and you're right, Ale; cosmetics are WAY more expensive in Europe. So I always bought mine while on vacation in the U.S.
What a beautiful video, beautiful tour!
I totally agree!
I’m living vicariously through you Ale!! Keep the videos coming. I love them.
Me too! Showing us all around and all the treats are wonderful!
So am I! I’m dying to leave this country and you truly motivate me!!!!!!
Loving the more walking around with the camera style. Since we’re pretty much living vicariously through you 😂, really enjoy seeing the scenery/places in Spain 😊
I’m trying to get more comfortable!
Really enjoying your DITL videos and getting to explore your surroundings with you. Thanks for sharing. 😊
In 2019,I took a Mediterranean cruise ,with 4 stops in Spain, Alicante was my most favorite spot!
Spain looks lovely in the winter!

More to come!
My dad was from Spain so I visited a lot, but I never really got used to having a big “comida” at lunchtime, then having “merienda” at dinner time! And forget about those 9 pm dinners!
You live in a beautiful city. So glad you are sharing these experiences with us! 🤍🤍
Great video with some scenery of Alicante and the small streets

Hi!!! So my airline doesn't require a minimum amount of hours, and they have also offered leave so i've taken it.
Sorry to hear about the floods in Spain . Sending prayers for everyone ❤
I ❤ your new videos. Seems like being in Spain is good for you too. SO INTERESTING. Love the foods, the shopping, the architecture, etc. Your average day is SO interesting. 🎉
Wondering what the climate/temperature is compared to U.S. Do you have seasonal changes ?
So good to see you this morning ... had many thoughts of you and your family upon hearing of the flooding. Love, love, love seeing and being a part of your amazing adventure, love getting to know the culture through your eyes ... 💚

Hi Ale, what was the name of the store ?
What under eye masks do you use?
If those cosmetics are being imported it's definitely going to be more! And then for smaller imported items the price always feels like a lot
I've really been enjoying your vlogs in Spain! Been a nice lil escape
Sephora in Spain is more expensive than other drugstores... You should try Druni or Primor instead 🤗
Do you think you’d maybe consider working for like Iberia or another European airline so you won’t have to commute so far? ❤
The Primark setting sprays are really good
I need to try those!!
I heard that Asian skin care is really good. Maybe they have a setting spray that's good.
When will we see a flight attendant video again?
I’m not sure yet. I’m on leave right now
George seems to join you often for chores and appointments during usual workday hours. Does he work from home? Is that as common in Spain as it is here in the US?
It’s not common. It depends on your situation and line of work.
@ it’s becoming more and more common in Alicante, actually.
Yes hear you with fitness. What about walking 2 miles a day? Do you even have time. ? OK Watching. Love the scenery.
Since I walk everywhere, I usually hit 12k+ steps daily! so that helps a lot.
Try Elf setting spray. ...it's good and within a drugstore price range !
the problem is finding it here.
@WonderfullyAle o I see! Can you order on line?
Cosmetics and toiletries are much cheaper in Europe, Spain included. Of course Sephora will be more expensive, shop around.
Yes, but some things are not sold at the pharmacies, which is why I went to Sephora, where it is sold. I was just comparing Sephora in Spain to the US Sephora
Love these A Day in The Life vlogs ❤❤❤
What you might do to get to know the city is take a tourist bus tour
Yes! I’m planning on doing that soon!
It's actually the end of daylight saving time.We are through with saving daylight.
Well the time changed is what I meant 🤣
