Hey ma'am, great lecture! Understood the topic very well and now I'll solve questions for practice. I had a doubt tho. Why do all organelles multiply during G2 interphase for them to just get destroyed in the next phase (prophase)? Doesn't make sense the cell would do so much work just for it all to get destroyed. Do they help initially with boosting the metabolism of cell or something?

The organelles are not detroyed they get disappeared for upcoming phases (metaphase nd anaphase) in telophase it reappears.
