Classic showcase of clutches and downloads. This Gief looks so impossible with good reads and DI checks but Punk still managed to get a big comeback out of that.

@@crimsonraiza3633 lily destroys geif. As well as sim. Its not aboyt the mechanics but about the matchup. Geif is getting good results because he is going 6/5 in matvhups against shotos and many cast members. When you pick the counter character we will see geif getting mopped. Mayve some players will pick up lily or something.
Geif is i. A good place. I think they should buff others to vhange the dynamic matchups

Im new to this game…. Zangieff seems WAY more damage than other heroes is he broken? Whats his draw back for the power is he slow?
Yes. He's slow and has no fast invincible option outside of SA3 and parry, so his defence on meaty situations and mixups is very bad. Also, his anti-airs are slow and can't beat cross-ups.

I just see Punk as the Cammy player who has to work hard there in these situations. Just skill, strength, and resilience. Cammy is a very hard working character against gief. Meanwhile you have Rashid vs Gief and i see the Rashid just fucking do a no-brainer and still pulls it off.

The only characters that take skill, strength and resilience are the ones that I like and that I play and every other character is braindead.

Manon and JP no. They have dumb range, frame traps, and mixups. And for specifically JP, lots of degenerate frame advantage situations.
@Un1234l Hot take for saying Manon isn't a hardworking character. Anyways, I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about cammy and how she needs nerfing. If we're talking about nerfing the honest well rounded characters (that doesn't have anything broken) and shit like that, just nerf cr mp universally. Because if you want to nerf anything only specific and unique to cammy, you honestly cant cuz her only dumb move was spinning back fist and that was nerfed significantly. Cammy is S-tier but it takes more fundamental skill in order to excel than the other S-tiers

Punk is just too good... legit think the reason why he wins so often is because hes a master at rushdowns and knows how to overwhelm and pressure his opponent when it comes to the crunch. When they lose their cool and go into panic mode the fight is already over.

Say what you will about throw loops making bad players look good but Gief is ABSOLUTELY BY FAR THE character that carries nobodies.
He's supoosed to be weak in certain areas for a reason but instead Capcom gave him combo damage while having batshiz insane normals and 50 50 pressure. Oh and the best level 3 in game. Oh and extra damage on normal throws because fk it. Oh and he also has the shortest jump arc to beat fireball spam which ofc he doesn't need because he has 1k extra hp for that exact reason.
Honestly if you are losing on Gief consistently at the high level you are a trash pro player.
Dictator is the character that carries nobodies. Braindead easy mode with his frame advantage and safe offence, highly damaging moves, range, and mixups.
Cammy SA3 is by far the best in the game. No way is Zangief's close when there's only rare situations he can land it.
@Un1234l 100% agree. Both things can be true but I think Bison carries harder but for slightly more effort if you can even call it that.
@Un1234l Also Cammy needs to combo or react to a fireball for her level 3. Gief's level 3 is broken PRECISELY as for it's proximity. Most use these in combos or on wake-up or in burnout. You can jab bait most level 3s. Gief's can never be baited unless you pre jump which you can do for everyone.
