We are headed to Vancouver to Hawaii on Ovation this Friday. Unfortunately due to fire we are only Stopping at our final port of Honolulu Hawaii. At least we will stay 3 days on our own. Thanks for a great vlogg! Your boy is adorable! ❤

Which month did you cruise?
This was the last few weeks of September , couldn’t have asked for better weather
Silly question but, do you go back to the ship every night while in the island? Is there is any time frame for returning to the ship? I assume foods are included as well for the days you are at the ports.
We only stayed in Maui overnight via cruise ship, we had to get back on the ship around 11pm if my memory serves me correct but that varies (need to check with guest services). Tender starts again early morning .
You can also just stay on the island all night if you wanted, the ship serves its purpose as a hotel though . free Food is unlimited but the ship has specialty restaurants that have an extra charge

did the motion sickness patches work?
Yes! Worked perfectly actually!
question. did you guys have to check in with customs?
Only at the cruise terminal.. when you enter you show your passport and upon exit they ask if you have anything to declare

It was a one way cruise , started in Vancouver and dropped us off in Oahu
Which car rental did you rent
Hertz… usually our “go to” since they offer free car seats for kids

No, we picked up the car at Pagoda hotel (it was the nearest to the dock). We took an Uber to that location .. not the best hertz pick up location since they were unorganized . But everything else went smooth. Did a one way return drop off to the airport
@@travelwithTKL was there a Windjammer Buffay on the cruise because when I went on the oasis of the seas from Cape liberty to cococay, Nassau Bahamas, there was a Windjammer Buffet on Deck 15 or I think 16 idk
How choppy was the ocean between Vancouver and Hawaii?
Only one day it got a little rough but overall the sail there was super smooth (surprisingly)
