So from your comment above; If you're using the saponification value of oils, you'll find out that the total amount of Lye used in soap Production x 2 will give you the quantity of solvent to use, which is 200ml in my own case, but I added extra 50ml. If you dissolve sttp with 100g of water, then caustic soda is to be dissolved in 150g and not 250g as you said.

How is ml of water look like is it one cup of water
Yes, but not just any cup. Get or buy any calibrated cup, the measurements are written on the cups from 5ml upward. Thanks
