This year, I took the huge decision to do Cinema for a living. I wanted to put this video online now so I will always have a memory of what is cinema to me, how I see it and what it makes me feel. I have no pretention with this video, nothing to teach you, just to share my love for this art. This video been in the work for a while, because I never found the right way to make it before. Thank you for all the support and I'll try to give that back to you by uploading more and more videos very soon!

I never thought of it that way. Actors leave their own personalities and take on multiple new ones every movie their in. That hits different for the way I feel about actors.

For years I've tried simplifying my love for cinema as just escapism; wanting to get out of my own head and dive into another world. Wanting to escape my own life because the lives inside movies were infinitely more appealing. But the more I watch movies, the more I realize I watch them to try and find myself in them too. In characters. In moments. The feeling of relating to a character, and for a moment you feel like you're not alone. You don't seem so crazy. And it's incredible to think about how much impact they can have on you. How much strength they give you to go on another day, or to take parts of them and apply them to your own being or everyday life. It's truly one of the best things we have, and I hope I'm not alone in saying that it's one of the main reasons I choose to stay alive.
