Trains at Tamworth INC 37800, Class 805s !

Today 31/05/24 i went to Tamworth, i saw lots of great stuff at high speed ! I saw a few class 805s on a test run/driver training for Avanti, Class 37 (37800) dragging a new LNWR Class 730, lots of Avanti West Coast Services and freight !
I had a very enjoyable day out and will definitely be returning here at some point.

Impressive how slow the 805s look compared to the 221s.

He 805s are limited to 110mph because they have no tilt. The 221s have tilt so they can go 125mph 👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻.

Yeah, I saw one of the 850 fleet at crewe, and it doesn't tilt

@@alexanderw2024 Wonder why Avanti didn't order trains that tilted to begin with. It would be super expensive and complicated to retrofit tilting to the 805/807 fleet.

Why is the class pulling the new train if it's new? And the cargo train ruined it

Because there is no Overhead wire there so it needs to be dragged.
