Why is everyone shitting on Messi, Messi and Ronaldo are so good people need to pretend that other players are better when clearly they aren’t. Wesley had a very good year but he was never ever the best in the world, you could tell when they were playing, he was a good player but Messi was on a complete different level, like in the ucl semis, inter had two players man marking Messi, that’s how good he was, Wesley was a great player in great teams but wasn’t anything different from other great midfielders, he just won a ton that year. Ballon dor is mainly based on individual performances and Messi was superior in every way, iniesta and xavi deserved it more than him.
Messi had 60 goal contributions in 2010 (47 goals and 13 assists) and Sneijder had 23 (8 goals and 15 assists). Just because he won a CL title and reached the WC finals (which are team achievements), does not mean he deserved the Ballon d'Or over Messi.

@@gabrielestanga shut ur mouth hes right
I just remember the 5.4millions times he was linked with a move to Manchester United
We call him Wesley Sniper🔥
Never seen a player with such instinctive gameplay. He always knew where everyone was and was one step ahead of everyone.
As skilled with his left foot than with his right one. That was remarkable.
Mann I can't believe he never won a ballon dor... Sneijder was way too underrated....
Funnily enough I dont remember watching him play but seeing in a magazine when I was 10 (442 maybe?) That he was ranked the best player in the world at that moment in time, ashame I wasn't watching often back then
Im proud to have sneijders 2 brothers, father and mother living in my street
If only we could see him play in the age of good camera quality...
I wish :( there are probably some better clips, I just don't have access to them
@@atg7110 where did you get all this video cause I'm curios and want make a youtube video too
@@atg7110 what is the first song?
for me he is one of the best players I have ever seen, and this shows that he played for pleasure and performance before money, a great technician, altruistic but who never refused a nice gesture for himself, criminally underrated! let’s not even talk about the golden ball he deserved…
I never felt so trust to a player that he can do something extraordinary for his team in a competition except cannavaro 2006 wc and sneijder ucl 2010
His passes were unbelievable I think he was better than Steven Gerard or at his same level like. Cr7 vs Messi
Totenham H he don’t even has a fut icon card
@@chrishoogland829 np I can give him lol
Chris Hoogland this is literally the first year in his retirement, he will get one.
Quilten van Deventer i hope so
Chris Hoogland wtf he retired last year.. and beckham, xavi and gerd muller hasnt got a icon card too
I remember running him at CAM in Ultimate Team back in 2012, good times
Fs I started watching football too late. By 2014 all the greats were retiring. But then again, I’m lucky enough to watch the next generation of Mbappe etc.
Great EK he played this year ;)
Surprising that you didn't add Real, Ajax or Galatasaray footage.
Yeh it was only based on his 2010 season, that's why
i like the song. its classy which represents his class in football and a touch of sadness which stands for the loss in the ballon dor race

He was one of the most underrated players. He is a big legend, one of the best players of all time
Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart were godlike combo. I loved watching them play togegher.
1:01 what a finish
No joke, his playing style, ultra fine passing, shots, reminded me of Maradona.
4:58 met z'n koppie!!!!
The man who made the modern no. 10 role sexy.. Before this, wingers/strikers were more sought after by clubs. Sneijder was the first guy who showed why the no. 10 role was so important.
this man was dangerous, his precision and him being incredibly capable with his left and right made him the best player.
Not winning the Wc Final and not winning ballon d'or after these amazing performances definetely destroyed his motivation and he was never the same afterwards. You can see it with erikssen as well, he lost the Cl Final and after that he was not the same player anymore. He plays like he doesn't want to be there
He reached his peak ,for some people only that matters ,u reached the top and it's game done .
Yeah, it broke him in a sense.
He was one of the greatest but only a few seasons on worldclass level
his corner kicks were very impressive, the way the ball came off the foot
Sneijder was toen geweldig alleen jammer dat wk 2010 van persie geen pepernoot raakte...
@@zzzzzzz9077 Hij heeft het wss over dat ene moment. Van Persie was gewoon ook top in dat toernooi verder.
I like the Dutch, super friendly and Amsterdam is pretty amazing. But most of all they love there football ⚽ and I can respect that a whole god dam lot.
This Wesley guys seems good, i hope he makes it to the big leagues someday 🙌🏼
Im an Inter fan and I have 2 admit although he was phenomenal, Messi was something else in 2010👽
messi is always up there, but sneijder did get robbed in my opinion
@@christopherfowler1010 Where is Sneijder now ? Messi deserved everything he have. Period
@@Rubrasileiro Its 2022 now not 2010. It doesn't matter if Wesley sniejder is dead now he still deserved to win balloon dor that year
@@christopherfowler1010 not more than Messi, sorry lady
@@Rubrasileiro yes he did, he was the most important player and best player in inter Milans 2010 win in the serie A and 2010 win of the champions league in which they beat Barcelona 3-1 and he was the most important and best player in Netherlands 2nd place finish in the world cup and if arjen robben could finish sniejder would've provided the assist for the game winning goal.
I think thats pretty damn balloon dor worthy.
Ofc messi is a better player and achieved far more overall in his carreer but the level in which Wesley sniejder played and the success he led his teams to in 2010 was simply unparalleled even by messi
Always one of my personal favourite players to watch. What a talent
Another great video✅ ;)
Appreciate that :)
This guy is a legend that no one talks about.. :(
Sneijder carried inter to the cl win and holland to the wc final in 2010 but smh he wasnt even nominated for ballon dor then while he shouldve been the winner, of course messi is the best of all time but in 2010 sneijder deserved the ballon dor
julian he carried neither team
He also scored the goal and sent Juventus home , Galatasaray and real Madrid upped ne next round from group stage in CL. And scored wonderful epic goals in same match against Fenerbahce , a football video maker in Turkey said this " I am besiktas fan , i ve edited so many goal videos but Sneijder is different he has no normal goal , he had a class in all goals , I am amazed again .. " we will remember him number 10 in Galatasaray for ever , best after George Hagi.

Not talked about enough sneijder serious baller 🔥
Uno de los jugadores más completos qué hay tenía mucha calidad era buenísimo jugando
If Robben had scored that goal, Sneijder would have won ballon d'or. No doubts.
Hmmmnope, can‘t remember. What month was that?
He was a part of the Dutch Golden generation most of whom have all retired now .. dirk kyut , van der vaart, van persie ofc , robben and so on .
I loved that squad man, so entertaining to watch, Spain won the World Cup, but the Netherlands team won my heart they were so good
Sneijder 2010 is far better than modric 2018
My respect to modric as a career he is better than wesley but
If you know what i mean.
Nice vid bro
Yes but in 2010 sneijer was the best he deserved but FIFA robbed to messi
Don't forget who took the UCL in 2010 homie
Wesley sneijder the man of our land
Nope, can't remember...
I remember being a proud dutch guy watching Robben en Sneijder play together. Everything went to shit since they retired

van persie, sneijder, kuyt, robben you guys were amazing, big fan
Sad that Messi was on another level during 2010 season scoring outrageous 60 goal for club and country.
Against farmer clubs. Wesley sneijder played great at his club in the CL and for the Netherlands at the world cup.
Always bought him alot on fifa loved him amazing play maker!
Wesley was robbed off of the Golden Ball in 2010 by Messi who achieved nothing that year
Messi still was the individual better player.
And now he's in advertisements slapping his head lol
I dont remember, mostly because it never happened.
stfu
he is still one of the underrated players in the world
Messi had 60 goal contributions in 2010 (47 goals and 13 assists) and Sneijder had 23 (8 goals and 15 assists). Just because he won a CL title and reached the WC finals (which are team achievements), does not mean he deserved the Ballon d'Or over Messi.
Goals are not all bro, he played like GOD that season, Xavi was the second, and Schewsteiger Third, then Messi, Milito and Iniesta.
2010 was a good year man
Do you remember when Sneijder was the best in the world? No, are you talking about Messi?
What a joke of a comment
😂😂😂😂
I miss you so much wesley from Istanbul
One of the most underrated player
Wesley Is king of the visionairy long passing plays and crazy long powerful shots at goal.
A footballer must think fast , act quick and function in the last second without any fear and should bring up a big amount of confidence and teamlove ..unfortunately a very rare Ingredience nowadays
Seni her geçen gün daha fazla özlüyorum kral 👑😢❤💛
As a loyal Dutch and Sneijder fan, I also consider the 2011 missing opportunity to join Manchester United might have been a loss to his personal development and to football as a whole…
Sneijder was tossed out by Real Madrid and the following season, he achieved something even Real Madrid haven't done, whilst he was talented before, Mourinho managed to get more out of him and he was arguably the best in the world in 2010, should have won the Ballon d'or.
