Absolutely stunning my friend. It’s a perfect street machine!! Thanks for participating in my group build, it really means a lot buddy!!! Oh and don’t worry, Heather doesn’t watch any of my videos, unless I tell her a cat is in one!! So it could be worse lol.
Looks great Frank!! I almost finished two builds in 2024😅. The year is still young!! 😄🥳. I might finish a 49 Ford kit bashed street rod for the Blue Ox street hot rod group thing. Almost have the chassis finished. 😮. Nice paint and wheels on that pony 👏👏👏
Great video Frank, beautiful build!!! June and I watched this while grilling some chicken and working on the 49! LOL at the end, Im' sure she watches the entire videos! Looking forward to a great 2025 as well!!!!
Frank, in some of your videos, you talk about viewers dropping out by some point. You may be right, I don't know, but I for one watch them all the way through. This is a hobby for me, so I get to do what I like, and what I like is spending time with people who make that both enjoyable and worthwhile to do. I worried about you when you were recuperating, and I'm glad you're back. Thank you.
@@jwaltery1 Thanks so much! TH-cam gives out some really useful Analytics about who, how many, and how much people watch. From there, I can get insight into how to make my videos better. I’ve found that my “featured build” videos are HIGHLY subject dependent. My best performer out of all of my featured build videos is the box stock 1990 Mustang LX. It’s an incredibly popular 1:1 car, so it’s got the most views…it’s also my my highest average view-time video, with people sticking with it almost all the way through. All of the Porsche videos tanked. If I had to venture a guess as to why, I’d say my passion for them was in the builds and not the fact that they were Porsches. Porsche people want passion in their Porsche content, and while I REALLY like those models, it’s apparent that for me, it was more about the modeling and less about the Porsche-ing. Believe it or not, my epically long videos have a better average-view-time than shorter videos. I can tell that there’s a core of my viewers either who sit and watch those videos, OR they sit and model at their bench while it plays in the background, looking up if they hear something that piques their interest. Videos about chrome get the most views, but only have an average-view time of 35% the video length. My videos about 3D printing are doing ok, but not great. They have relatively low views, but decent average-view times. My bachelor’s degree is in Communications, so I finally get to use it, and tailor the content to suit the data. I want to make content that people find appealing, useful, informative and entertaining. I’ll get there!

Sure have done a fine job with that one Sir. I really enjoy your channel, Frank. I put your videos on my tv and watch/listen a lot. I’m from the DEEP south, a neck beard I’m sure I would be considered, lol. I had a best friend in high school, from Massapequa, sounded a lot like you. I enjoy your company, Sir, even if it is just virtually. Thanks Frank.
@@paulpitmon6663 it’s a pleasure to have you here Paul! I spent a lot of time in Massapequa growing up…several family members lived there…lots of great memories!
@@stephenKessel Thanks Stephen! Hopefully soon…I’m not big enough to branch out to merch…yet! Once I hit 10k subs, and get consistent 5k+ views per video, I can look into getting some merch. If anything, it’s gonna be the logo that appears in the corner of the videos. It’s less cost to print one color on shirts.
Frank since your a nice guy and likes to help. And I like you try to ignore "gatekeepers". One question what's your method in getting glue off clear? Thanks in advance kind sir... PS Excellent as always Jason's proud of the build....
@@Weasel3DE depends on the glue and depends on the clear. On 2K clear, PVA glue, and foil adhesive can be polished off with polishing compound like Meguiar’s or similar. Takes it right off. Solvent glue like Tamiya extra thin…basically anything that melts plastic pieces together by melting the plastic…get it off as soon as possible. 2K won’t be as affected as Lacquer clear, and it will usually tear through acrylic clears like Alclad Aqua Gloss clear on contact. If only the clear is damaged, lightly sand and respray the clear on the affected panel. CA glue can be easy(it hardens without fogging and doesn’t bond well…incredibly rare, but it has happened) or it can “dig in”: it catalyzes and bonds whatever transferred it to a surface like say, a big fat sausage finger in a nitrile glove. That’s a PROBLEM. You’re now faced with some delicate sanding (might be best to isolate the injured area with tape to protect unaffected areas). It’s HIGHLY likely you’ll burn through the clear, regardless what it is, and reach the paint, maybe even primer and plastic…it happens QUICK. In that case, isolate the panel, prep, prime paint and clear. I’m not a big fan of stripping an entire body to fix a panel. It helps develop consistency if you can blend and match painted panels. It’s not for everyone, but that’s how I do it. Thanks! You just gave me an idea for a new series “Fixing Frank’s Foulups”!
