I think you just did the 1st owner video of this tent!! Mine is due to arrive today. The design is very similar to the REI Quarter Dome SL1. With that tent it works well to first insert the cross rod in sleeves in the fly. Then working your way down, attach Velcro tabs and then finally the corner clips. Perhaps that is the process for this tent as well. Thabks for posting the video.

Absolutely. Good idea. I've definitely loved it so far. It's a great tent.
Just as a small note. The loops are for pulling the pockets over the end of the ridgeline pole. I made the same mistake the first time.
