I spend a few days in Kastamona a few years ago. A nice city with friendly people. Very different though to Istanbul, quieter and clear air. I would like to have spend more time exploring the area. Turkish cooking is awesome and that tradition will continue. Our food is similar and based on Turkish but not nearly as gourmet! Peace and happiness and the new location will be fine in the end. You can visit and relax there. At least it is within Turkey and not some far off land as is the case of my family and many others…
