    What’s the part number for the thermostat cap? All I could get was 63B01 and not the first numbers. I’m planning to run short intake runners with a twin Weber style ITB’s and just like the Baleno intake, the thermostat is located in the back and not on the front like on the distributor ignition Vitara

    Awesome video bud. Appreciate the effort to make it. It’s helped me complete my swap heaps. Only issue I’ve found is the radiator fan rubs at the bottom of the shroud when I hit bumps? Everything is same as your setup in the vid. Any idea?

    Do you have maybe some sources for the wiring? Part of the wire lead into the engine bay, that's clear, but one connector from the ECU lead towards the instrument cluster etc. that will be a question....

      Hey mate!
      G16b swap on a g series jimny is every very easy.
      Get yourself any g16b, id look for a baleno one and just swap everything over. I actually cover this in my second video in this series.

      You can buy them brand new from Suzi store in W.A for $200. But I think that’s very expensive so I ordered mine from India on eBay for like $43 and just waited a while for it to ship. I’d recommend that instead of spending an extra $150

      No issues as of yet, this is probably sump #10 i have done in the exact same method

      i cant weld for shit so i had a mate do mine. just make sure you mock it up really well and make sure the new piece you weld in is sitting perfectly flat and flush or the crank angle sensor will never pick up the crank with its magnet and you will get no start.

    I have done a. similar conversation on mine.. TH-cam makes it looks easy. What management did you use, and how did you do your fuel pump setup so that it is reliable?

      @@redzook1 Thanks I had a look at that. Haha, I have done something very similar.. but with a Jimny JB43 Loom as I have a aftermarket ECU running and did a JB43 dash swop. (Check it on my channel if you like). the wiring video did not cover the fuel pump installation. Are you using a internal fuel pump setup, external with feeder pump to high pressure pump, or a surge tank setup or straight external high pressure pump direct from tank to fuel rail?

    Hello, I haven't pulled out my original engine (G13BA), but as I'm inspecting the Baleno engine, it seems it won't fit with its exhaus manifold, because it interferences with the engiene mount. Does the G13BA manifold fits on the Baleno head? If yes isn't it a narrower diameter than the ports on the head? ( I know I could check it myself, but the engine is still in, and I'm excited about what I should change....)

      No you have to buy conversion headders. Look on ebay

    Just a quick question, I have a 2004 Suzuki grand Vitara 3 door, g16b engine, was wondering if anyone knows for sure whether they are an interference engine since it's probably been over 100,000kms since previous owner did the timing belt, and I can't get a definitive answer from Google.     @CuzzTec did you take out the original ECU out of the car or did you do a standalone ECU from camms and plug the temperature into the old one? i'm doing a engine swap on my vitara from a 1.6 8V G16A to a G16B so if you have any tips.

      You can do do either. The ecu is from the donor car

      okay so the old ecu was still in the car and operating the internals such as lights and stuff and the ecu from the donor car is only for the engine, did you also put in a different fuel pump and hoses or did u use the original?

      @@redzook1 okay yeah, i have watched all 3-4 videos on the how to g16b swap. for the past few months i have been doing a lot of research on the swap and after countless of hours of scrolling tho forums and looking at videos yours has been the most helpful. but i'm going to use a baleno engine, i'm probably going to send the wiring loom and ecu to camms since his work looks really nice and professional. is there annything else that i'm going to need from the baleno next to the ecu, wiring harness and fusebox?

      I have done experiments with and without a sensor, no change. Not worth the effort

    Why is the g16b the best option? I want to engine swap my Sierra but I’m not sure whether I should go bigger than the g16b. Is it illegal to go bigger? Why the g16b? I would really appreciate it

      No a straight swap. But its very simple, just needs an adapter kit

      Vitaras are a much bigger car, the baleno injection is far superior to Vitara as well.
      In saying that the silver sj80 is a vitara g16b

    where did you get that 1600 conversion kit from looks like rat shit. i'm guessing its its from america or something?. benT for the win!! . i liked the way you did the thermostat to front top rad connection. mines currently just rubber hose with a 28mm joiner with the g13ba thermo sender in it for the cluster and i dont really like how close it sits to the intake manifold. might have a go at your way. also tip for anyone reading this, i was a usless C#$t and ruined both my baleno cable and my old seirra cable trying to mod them to get them to fit. the easy solution is ebay search "
    1600 Baleno Conversion Cable - Suzuki Sierra SJ40 SJ50 SJ70 SJ80 Maruti" that cable is from a factory G13BB from an indian maruti gypsy and it directly fits in no mods needed.
