Steven's TRULY TRAUMATIC Trip! - A Steven Universe Future Discussion!

- The theory of Steven's eventual corruption has been floating around on the internet for a while now. But others believe that instead of being corrupted, Steven will intentionally take on a form that reflects his inner trauma and turmoil! Could this idea actually work? And if so, what's the best way for it to play out? Well, here are some ideas of my own!
P.S - I came up with that video title after I edited the actual video. It makes a lot more sense in context than the original title "Steven's Rocky Road Trip", so just FYI. ^^

Also, we've seen that it is possible for Steven's appearance to change based on how he sees himself. In the episode Too Many Birthdays in season one, he gets really old bc that's how he sees himself.

Wow. That *is* very emotional and tragic. This would be an insane route for Steven to go down. And it even gives us a connection to the monster and Steven through a way other than Corruption. *And it makes sense*

the shows greatest weakness is that Steven needs to around for anything to happen. Nothing happens without him.
The second big weaknesss is that it cannot deal with large plot points. It is great in showing relationschips and relationschip problems between 2 people but seems to forget that when dealing with, lets say the diamonds the diamonds also have immeasurable impact on all the wrods they own and all gems under them.
Are we really to believe that they dismanteled the entire emipre and only a handfull of gems did not go allong with it instantly? IDK the shows does not say a thing about it uless Steven is directly linked to a certain gem.
In Unleash The Light there are more gems that aren't happy with the new rules

Honestly, for all the good this show has, I've always been bothered by just how much was heaped on this kid's shoulders over the course of the story. War, the mistakes of his mother, taking care of potentially hundreds of hurt gems. That's way too much to ask a child to sort out, even if he's older than he was before :(
The road trip idea sounds like it would be a great premise for a spinoff.
If that big pink-eyed monster really is Steven then he really is in for a traumatic trip ... poor Steven 😭😭😭

10:34 I hate to be the bearer of bad news but...Pumpkin is dead. I forget what interview it was said in, but I recall hearing about it in one of the Roundtable videos. If I remember it right, Pumpkin dies somewhere in the timeframe of the last episode of the original show and the movie.

Ok but what if wormy boi actually was a pet that belonged to Pink Diamond? He wouldn't have been abandoned bc we're getting kind of tired of all the repetitive mistakes, but wormy is instead something that is magically summoned by Steven's gem during SUF, a new pet. (And I'd imagine he wouldn't start off as big as he is in the new opening, perhaps he's about the size of a golden retriever at first.) Perhaps Wormy was summoned bc he wanted to comfort Steven in his time of need, but maybe he didn't help in the way he wanted to. You all remember the watermelon Stevens, they were a huge army made for the sole purpose of protecting Steven by attacking whatever hurt him physically. What if Wormy Boi was the same thing, but not his physical protecter and instead emotional and/or mental? At first, Wormy is Steven's friend, like Steven's emotional support doggo. But later on, wormy finds out what happened to Steven and his friends, referring to what this video showed us, (Steven might vent to wormy like he did with cactus steven, but he may not bc of how cactus steven turned out, so maybe wormy finds out another way, who knows) and long story short, Wormy becomes so angry at everyone because he thinks that they hurt Steven (when it was mostly vice versa) that he just decides to destroy the entire world after making sure Steven is safe on Homeworld, or anywhere not Earth or Lars' ship (bc obviously Lars and the Off Colors would be going with Earth).
So in conclusion, Steven has one of his biggest emotional/mental breakdowns yet and causes wormy boi to be summoned, at first its nice, but it becomes super destructive later.
This is also a possible explanation for how homeowrld was torn in half, bc we never found out how that happened, maybe Wormy Boi tore Homeworld in half to protect Pink Diamond and that was the last day he ever existed for a few thousand years.
It well be fun to see spinel and Steven have a nice talk

I wonder if the cat fingers play a part in his transformation? Hear me out, Volleyball was almost killed, but she gets a cracked eye? We know his body doesn’t handle anything beside human (cat fingers) so he would have a little corruption (like volleyball) and it gets worse because of his organic side (cat fingers) and he becomes Wormy boy. Who knows, it can get even worse because of how his aging powers work.

I know I'm late but Pumpkin's dead man, we basically already knew this. Rebecca kinda explained it a while back around when the movie came out.
Well I think there should be more episodes because of my theory for a couple of amazing episodes:
So, this should be after the part when Steven becomes the Wormy Boi, a girl watches Steven behind the bushes and onces she realizes what happened to Steven, she becomes ultimately shocked.So she immediately goes to find help and she knows where exactly where to go!
She arrives at Steven's house and talks to the gems about how Steven has been doing, turned out she was Steven's long lost friend, Cecile. She explained to the gems that she secretly sneaked onto Steven's road trip, heard Steven call himself a monster and saw Steven slowly regret himself for what he done to everyone. She then tells the gems what he has done and after a while and when she finishes, the gems become very very very shocked. She asks if she can make an announcement to the people he did wrong during his road trip to ask to help Steven from hating everything he did to everyone during it, after she said that the gems break down in tears and give her an automatic yes.
Next part of that comes tomorrow or in the next couple of days.

This is a very good theory, but I have a theory as well. My theory is Steven will get so stressed and have so many mental break downs that he will end up corrupting himself. That or he fuses with a new corrupted gem or something.

Did you know Steven has a cookbook?
For example: The wormboi recepie
1) Assemble a part diamond, part gem and part human teenager with social insecurities.
2) Roast him through his mother's mistakes on high heat.
3) Put him out of heat so he can rest and think about his life.
4) Fill a pot 2/3 with water, throw him in it, put it on the stove and bring his emotions to boil untill he turns pink.
5) Carefully put him in the sink and turn the tap on, wich will trigger the reaction.
6) Serve and enjoy!

I haven't seen the video yet but in my opinion I think it'd be best for Steven's own toxicity to corrupt himself, now I know that hasn't REALLY happened (well it has technically with jasper but that's kinda different), since I believe making the corrupting happen from an outside force undermines Steven's struggles and it would generally be better for Steven to corrupt himself, basically like the turning-pink-thing turns into more of a Steven-bruh-you-getting-corrupted and then into a HOLY-SH**-STEVEN-YOU'RE-A-WORM-Y-DINOSAUR-thing

There is one reason that I can think of that steven won’t corrupt. Steven is a diamond, and all of the other diamonds have been hot with the same blast, So if my theory states incorrect, doesn’t that mean that all of the other diamonds should already be corrupt. Also, Steven is part human, So there might not be a chance that he never corrupts because his human DNA doesn’t allow such a jurassic change in form, such as change of DNA, especially since steven is at an age in his life where he stops growing so much.

What if the giant worm is Steven and everyone we see alongside with the worm is actually fighting with Steven and they're fighting with some kind of aura that turns all of Stevens loved ones into the enemy like he persuades Jasper cuz she respects him now white diamond cuz she cares about pink/Steven the cactus Steven and the lapises because Steven helped one of the lapises come to Little home world and she persuades the other lapis to help fight and maybe the Ruby and aquamarine are just easily defeated by the worm and so they help
