Singing ability aside, Kishore da had the greatest voice of all time without a doubt. Rafi Saab maybe had more nuances and technicality due to his rigorous classical training but Kishore da had this great untamed quality. We are so lucky to had them both because it shows in life that no one way is correct.
I was fortunate to see him live. He doesn't use books or anything. Sings from memory. some improv here and there. He makes the event just so memorable with songs. commentary and humor. The man is electric. He is like Mick Jagger of Rolling Stones.

Singing ability aside, Kishore da had the greatest voice of all time without a doubt. Rafi Saab maybe had more nuances and technicality due to his rigorous classical training but Kishore da had this great untamed quality. We are so lucky to had them both because it shows in life that no one way is correct.

I was fortunate to see him live. He doesn't use books or anything. Sings from memory. some improv here and there. He makes the event just so memorable with songs. commentary and humor. The man is electric. He is like Mick Jagger of Rolling Stones.
I first heard Kishore name on his death day when my daddy was repeatedly showing sadness on his death, remember my dad was more a Rafi fan but understood the elegance and uniqueness of kishore and knew many indo pak singers copy Kishore but no one can reach his excellence.
