It happens, maybe in their takeoff performance they computed for full length instead of intersection departure. If they didn't make that maneuver it was considered an intersection takeoff then.

He did that weird maneuver where he went on the runway then turned around what’s that all about
The captain must've requested TWR to backtrack and make a 180° turn to use full length.
