    Hello there great video. I have a brand new bn2-20a and its missing some nozzle checks right off the very first print test. As well as the second. Should i be concerned?

    What is the temperature room you need to keep this machine, and does have a sleep mode and every few hours the head automatically moves back and forth to the ink doesn't clogs? I know Roland printer used to have that in versa am wide printers.

    • @j.rabbitcrafts
      @j.rabbitcrafts ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, you must keep it in sleep mode when not in use. It will automatically flush the ink.

    Hey, your videos are useful! I am looking into getting one of these but the thing no one seems to talk about is the lack of media for it. The spec sheet I have been sent says the machine takes up to 515mm wide rolls, however that seems incredibly hard to find. In fact my usual supplier for vinyl cut supplies only has gloss digital media at 500mm, every other media seems to come on a 760mm roll as a minimum. Is there anywhere specific that sells the correct size (I would assume additional cost) or is it a case of having the roll cut down (more additional cost and wasted materials)?

      There are actually a lot of options for 20" printable media. You can also use 15" or 12" rolls of media as well. You can find a lot of 20" media here. shrsl.com/4i8bc

    Thank you Melissa for the video! ❤it helped getting started but it gets stuck at „setup in progress“ after it setups the foil. Then the led changed from blue to yellow. Update is up to date. Any suggestions?

    Do you have a tutorial on using clear or holographic media with white ink??

      Not for the BN2 b/c I don't have a Roland with white ink

    could you tell me what kind of compter would be required to run this printer and the design program it comes with. I recall in another video it was stated its only for windows pc but are there specific specs your computer should have for this software?

      Yes it's PC only. I have the computer I use listed here: www.amazon.com/shop/silhouetteschool/list/3OG7O6YTB4U5D?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d

    Hello, I have a problem on my roland bn2-20, I always have 5cm of margin at the beginning of my prints in addition to the 2cm at the end, do you know how to do so that the prints are close to 2cm as on the bn-20?

    • @SilhouetteSchool
      @SilhouetteSchool  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      2cm is less than an inch and I don't believe you'll get it much closer than that..the machine needs some margin and lead.

  • @isainovski

    OK so here’s a question I have for you now you loaded up the different media profiles would I have to load that profile up for each machine or once you save that profile on one machine you could use it on all machines

      I'm not sure what other machiens you're referring to but to be honest I'm not 100% sure

    I have a BN2 20a. My HTV media that came with the machine wants to bunch up during printing and I won’t even tell you what happened during the perf cut. Any suggestions?

    • @j.rabbitcrafts
      @j.rabbitcrafts ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure that your HTV is passing under the left pinch roll AND left media clamp.

    • @SilhouetteSchool
      @SilhouetteSchool  ปีที่แล้ว

      Along with what the other commenter said, make sure the roll is not pulling the media too tight..you need a tiny bit of slack

      Can we print on any of the specialty vinyls such as opal, metallic, holo, with the BN2, or do they specifically have to be labeled as “printable”.

      @@GlamourTribeVinylFor best results, use vinyl/media that is specifically designed to receive eco-solvent ink.

    Have you by chance noticed that some of the colors are not coming out the same as the BN-20s? We're starting a ticket with Roland / Bell Howell.

    • @SilhouetteSchool
      @SilhouetteSchool  ปีที่แล้ว

      No my colors are all the same. Are you using the same color profiles and settings?

    • @StickerFab
      @StickerFab ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SilhouetteSchool unfortunately yes 😭. I even tried to force the same BN profiles. Just to test. Half the colors are darker.
      Saw a story where someone went from a BN-20 to BN-20A and noticed the BN-20 was darker.
