Been listening since 2000, I'm 38 now, and I have to say although my taste in music has changed over the years, my love for Thrice hasn't. Absolutely love Dustin's raspy voice in this album, as well as the evolution of the rest of the band's style perfecting their instruments and giving us a sweet nostalgic taste of the hardcore band we grew up with and loved mixed with the dynamic and ever-evolving band they are now. @@zer0divid3 my favorite Thrice albums are Artist and Vheissu hands down, but that's the cool thing about a band like Thrice, they have multiple sounds over time that appeal to different people. I get the feeling that they always make whatever music they want to make, even if it's currently a little watered down for me personally
@@perpetualgrimace I don’t care so much for TBEITBN and Palms, a bit too safe and plain. I like these albums enough to own copies of them but they rank near the bottom of their stuff for sure. However Horizons/East I think is more creative for them and has more of an identity than the other two previous ones, I think it’s a step in the right direction.
There are very few albums that I loved when I was 20 that I still love at 40. This one is at the top of the list. I probably love it more now than I ever did. It has aged like a fine wine.

I was supposed to go watch them live, and thankfully I sold them on StubHub and someone was able to see them at Furnace Fest :) I met them back in when they were touring the release of Vheissu. Very fortunate Teppei gave me a moment before the show to get a quick picture for a fan of their work.

Love both recordings, nice to hear the more open tones slightly fatter sounds, clearer vocals. Will always favour the Andy Wallace mix but this is refreshing! 👌🏼

This is so cool- they actually redid all these epic songs that everyone knows them by. But I've been struggling to find the CD version to purchase and I can't find it anywhere. Is this only released on vinyl?? That means I'd have to miss out on this one. I buy CD's.
