What a woman what a life. It takes so much courage to be so vulnerable and so unflinchingly honest . Saans was one of the most iconic shows on Indian television. And to hear that to some extent it has been part of her life where she had to insist that her husband should marry her to give her credibility in life is unbelievable. Kudos to him he has to be a super confident man to take on this powerhouse of a woman. You are a mindblowing woman Neena Gupta. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Neena ji, thank you for being so open and honest through the conversation. You are undoubtedly a role model for today's women in not trying to kill her soul (as you put in your words). And have the gumption to stick to it despite what the society puts her through. Warm regards!
Neenaji you are such an amazing person and i felt like whatever you said you said it with full honesty and we like you for that. I haven't seen Badhaai ho but will see it soon! Good luck with all your future projects
Amazing to hear her. Love her honesty , vulnerability. It’s brave to admit openly abt ones decisions spl the ones which don’t go right. She had no pretense hence ppl found it depressing. She’s right women’s life is like that. Can’t help it. Either we r working r health off to make money, remain skinny , do it all - have it all and then give way to much importance to man.
Nina I loved your interview and your honesty. On the name of gender equality , women have stopped accepting the difference made by nature. They have invited more responsibility now than they actually can execute and that is killing them. No time to enjoy life or relish their achievements. At the end , even kids blame them. It is a very confusing era where we as women have gone ahead of men but our role as nurturer has not changed. We still do not have enough men who can share the burden of their working partner.
" Few of us in this room isn't India". WOW!! I hope all people especially women starts talking honestly, so one we will have a good society! Thank you. Shoma why would you ask about her daughter! Shame. Subject here is her, Qs her.
Look like Shoma is glorifying perverse behaviour on one hand and persecuting Neena by questioning her on the rationale behind her male choices, and her amorous past. What a shameless and disgraceful way to conduct as an interview. Talk about gender sensitivity, modesty, and decorum in public life. What kind of public standards are they setting with such interviews
It looks the interviewer was brought up by a stay at home mom. Dear Miss, what women empowerment are you talking about? Not only do the lower but also the middle class working women have limited means and brave their entire day just like Neena described.
you guys really need to work on the sound quality ! The sound is very low on most of the videos , I can barely hear it even on max volume. Also you might consider giving the speaker a body microphone as they tend to hold the hand held one away many times.
she is a number 4 person.......dabang personalitites ..very smart....they speak their mind...their life can go upside down in a blink of an eye... very stubborn personalities..they don't take advice ..they don't listen to anybody... hahahahaha i am too number 4 ...
I don't understand why people are glorifying characterless person like Neena Gupta who had affair with already married man and also having his child without marriage
Really like and adore her, but she seems somewhat of the mindset - "if the system didn't work for me, it must be wrong." An industry is not going to change around her being an unconventional actress. Better and more versatile actresses figured this out early and found their fulfillment in television or stage theatre or more realistic movie genres. Anyway, wish her all the success and happiness in future.

Neena ji is so proud of what she believes in, I am so happy to listen to this conversation.
Amazing woman , forward thinking, truly liberal in her life.
Neenaji you are such an amazing person and i felt like whatever you said you said it with full honesty and we like you for that. I haven't seen Badhaai ho but will see it soon! Good luck with all your future projects
Bhanu Gopal Badhai ho is a perfect movie and you must must watch it . Every single persons performance is simple spectacular.

i like it what u r saying ..... very strong personality
Although I don’t agree with everything she said, she is so graceful and engaging to listen to
Its nice to see that the art of disagreement and still respecting the person hasn't died in India yet
Because it shakes a man's self worth to know what a single, beautiful woman can achieve
Amazing to hear her.

I totally agree with her. For a marriage to sustain one of the partner has to compromise.
Such a great and amazing lady. Love u.
Such a brave lady one of the iconic actor lesson for all
What a wonderful interview! Though I can't say I agree with everything that was said. But Neena was amazing
Such an amazing lady!
She is quite factual in essaying the difficulties of being a woman in india.
She is a realist.

she is 100% right...
You are real mam I respect you
She spoke her story brokeheartedly
It must resonate with the deeply rooted emotions of woman.

when people go through issues, that time media people are the one who make breaking news and make life hell.

This is me when i'm older. lol
Division of labor is right provided the woman is paid for working at home
There's validation and self worth ...
I liked the way she spoke. She was not shying away neither she looked like a feminist.
I like you
Badhai ho had Ayushmann khurana who is very very famous, dear anchor. Neena Gupta obviously acted very well but Ayushmann is way more famous than her
