Heavy Lifting: Erie Railroad Wreck Crane No. 03125

In 2020, URHS resurrected this 1927-built Bucyrus-Erie wreck crane. Originally built as a steam crane for the Erie Railroad, it was converted to diesel in the 1950s. It spent a long career picking up after train wrecks and it was saved from scrap in the 80s. More than 30 years later it was painstakingly refurbished by United Railroad Historical Society volunteers.
