"I Want It That Way" is a song by American boy band Backstreet Boys. It was released on April 12, 1999, as the lead single from their third studio album, Millennium. "I Want It That Way" is the Backstreet Boys’ signature song, and commercially it reached the number-one spot in more than 25 countries.

I know right? Harmonies are so funny that way, they sound so odd on their own but then they can all come together so well!

That's the idea of "harmonies" specially when they are tight and so in synch... Sometimes in the final mix (producing) the volumes and effects of the other voices (backgroung voices) are lowered, so they are definitely therem but most times u can barely notice them... if the second (higher pitch) weren't there, u will definitely tell that something's missing...

​@@federicochang3249 No to nsynch. Yes to B2M, but their harmonies don't hit the spot like BB do.
I would also suggest Dru Hill's harmonies that the background singers do, so they're less dynamic than BB, but they still hit the spot:
"Tell Me",
"5-Steps",
"Never Make A Promise",
"In My Bed".
