The mdr is better in almost every way compared to the 5.56 aks, it's cheaper to mod and you can run 60 rounders with it, if you want a lower recoil with the ak you have to spend too much and it looses its core feature of being a cheap 5.56, so I'd stick with the mdr

I tend to go with the buttpad (3.5k from trader, 5% recoil), best in slot muzzlebreak (15k from trader, 12% recoil, 7% more than stock), Trax-1 Handguard (10k from flea, plus 1.5k for a foregrip rail, so 11.5k total, CAA RS47 is also an option at this price, B10M is a slightly more expensive option), Zenit RK-0 foregrip (6.5k from trader), EO-Tech sight (whichever is cheaper, usually around 20k on flea). Atop this its 20kish from flea for the gun, giving a grand total of ~88,500 roubles for a pretty nice gun. MDR on the other hand costs ~40,000 to 60,000 from what I remember, and requires the same 20k sight, same handguard rail, a more expensive muzzle break and the likes, so at worst its ~20,000 roubles more expensive to run a nice modded out AK101, at best its about ~15,000 cheaper to use the AK. All depends on flea variance.
@@darthm985 stop doing short sprints. If you sprint, do it correctly to pass dangerous areas. Since I stopped doing the sprint stomp ( sprint for 3-5m) I get less killed because I don't do so much noise. And if I sprint I try full ones and since then my endurance and strength goes up also health ;)

4:05 you can see him on the hill moving right to left and at 6:08 you can see him on the far left of the screen to the right of the bush. I often wonder how many guys I miss on the screen too because of the amount of focus.
At 4:05 you missed seeing the third dude that was part of the first 3 man squad, he was running right in the center of your view, you could see the top half of his body, surprised you missed him.
Aye i love the P90 but you def. gotta pack alot of mags to avoid having to repack mags all the time. If you bring 5 or so mags then by the time you're running dry then you should've killed atleast one guy and you can prob pick up and use his gun until you extract.
Literally everyone uses the p90 now that they gave everyone one for free, again, and enough gp coins to buy them for the rest of time, the only guns I've died to in the past 2 days are p90s
People don't like it because you either need to hit someone in the thorax 3 times to kill them or get a headshot, and in either case a higher rate of fire wins the day. Personally, I love the MDR and own one irl.

Cheap as chips gun, can spend more on attachments and good ammo. Really like the Burris field with the 30mm mount with a pk06. Slap on any grip and it does it all for a good price. It's what I use for shooter born in heaven

I went back to try the MDR 5.56 ran on customs with the same setup and I literally had the best raid of my life, killing all in dorms and all the scav players coming, making out with 2 full exfils, alytn, three full weapon setups, two aacpc cause someone brought in a raid bag. Best Cheap gun to run and great mobility.

MDR is what people who think slapping mods on ADAR is a good idea would be buying if they had at least 2 working brain cells. MDR is the next best thing after pimped out M4 and for half the price yet you still see people modding a fucking ADAR of all things...
One might imagine if it was the user and not the gun, i might say i have trouble shooting all the weapons. Of course i don't expect such thought from condescending pricks on the internet. The SV-98 had a trigger delay since it's debut, but im sure you guys are correct and there's no possible way the gun has issues.
issue i have with 556 mdr is its horizontal recoil value. When you compare MDR vs AK-101 (556), I noticed that for the same price (mid-tier build ie rvg grip, pws and etc), AK-101's horizontal recoil is much lower.
I would say 80% of the times lingering around the area you had the fight at increases your chance of meeting someone reacting to the gunfight sounds. I would honestly say loot fast and carry the loot to a safer location and sort there after you collected them all.
Okay you go in with a laser and red dot pp-19 and just try to shoot first and get out after first kill. Or camp extract at factory also a way to enjoy the game because action comes to you.
Crazy thing that happens for you is that you don't immediately get head tapped - one-shot. I seem to have that happen 75% of the time. ugh. GG on that triple kill!!!
Love the TanDR. I get that they love their Russian weapons... but I would really love more diversity. There's like 20 different AKs in the game right now and like 4 or 5 5.56 options.
They need to balance attachments more in this game. Too many attachments offer so much performance and no drawbacks. They also need to add a different barrel for the MDR, as well as more mods for the SR-25, better mods for RSASS, better mods for ASH-12, NERF M1A, HK-416, M4A1 mods, nerf WAVE MB suppressor and muzzle brakes.

Exact gun I ran on reserve last night. Only second time ever running it cause I always heard on TH-cam it was trash. I killed most the map 10 scavs and 5 raiders at extract at bunker. In my opinion it slaps. You can full auto or snipe just like with the other MDR that is prolly my favorite gun in game besides maybe the ash 12 even though I can’t kill anyone with that lol. I guess I like bullpups? Got on as my first irl shotty too. Idk the concept of what the halo gun was based off just gives me nostalgia I suppose

the problem with the MDR is its lack of a stock. Therefore it has a very low base recoil (about half of an m4 or so), so adding a grip only gets you half the benefit you would get on a normal gun. Modding the MDR is just pointless, it doesnt really get any better. Sure stock stats arent terrible, but they arent great either. Its simply a very mediocore gun with much better alternatives
@@Timidgaming but you don’t need a best in slot m4 to beat the mdr, use the same mods he put on the mdr, add an mbus stock and an advanced buffer tube for 18k or so and you got a significantly better weapon.
It's not under-rated, it's just that modding an M4 is more fun and you can trade for an M4 at level 1. By the time you can reliably get the MDR you can afford to loose a couple of M4's so the MDRs just get sold. With that said the MDR is better in Factory areas and in the luv motel in Shore line.

The DMR is a gun I like, but it’s not good in the current meta. High fire rate is almost absolutely preferable every time in escape from Tarkov

plus you can slap any optic on it and it'll be good as it is, unlike M4 in which you have to swap the gas block to get a decent view
