If you buy the HaT German infantry gun you get 4 in the box with spoked (horse drawn) and disc (lorry-towed) wheels - If you use the spoked wheels you can use the disc wheels glued to a length of cocktail stick to 'modernise' the HaT 4.5 inch British Howitzer. Trim off the ends of the gun axles and glue the stick to the underside of the gun with superglue. You don't get a crew but I modify HaT WW1 gun crews by coating the puttees in UHU glue to get WW2 style trousers. The 4.5 howitzers were used alongside the 18 pounders in the early war, goes well with Plastic Soldier Co guns but note the instructions on the PSC kit are wrong, the straight gun carriage is the early version, for an 18 pounder, and the platform was carried atop the limber (the cranked carriage was designed to carry the platform attached to it and was only used for 25 pounders). You get two tractors, two limbers and parts to make two guns (all you need is wheels to make 4 guns but I use the limber wheels for that). I think the 25 pounders (without the muzzle brake) were used in the early war so you can have two of 18 and 25 pounders from one box and you can get some replacement wheels for the limbers (Butlers printed models offer suitable wheels, trim off the axle stubs and attach with polystyrene cement).
@@abitgamey9745 Thanks for the review. I believe Perry miniatures are 25mm but they only have the Africa campaign in ww2 at £20 for 38 mini's. Dice & Decks sell them for £17.

yes, just measured and they're closer to 25mm
