I am a Marathi person but I loved it.The original singer Pt.Bhimsen Joshi was also from Karnataka. I want to listen Kannada translation of Marathi abhangwani.
only objection is to the last line: "Eka Janardani sharana I Kari maaherachi aathavana II" in Marathi has been mistranslated as "naa Janardani sharana..." This abhang is a composition of Sant Eknath who wrote under the pen name "Eka Janardani." So, the pen name ie. "ankitha naama" should have been kept as it is. Changing it for the purpose of translation is wrong.
@@nikhilbr2626 First off, were it not for the Marathi saints who made Lord Vitthala the object of their Bhakti, nobody would even be looking at Vitthala today, leave alone worshipping Him! Secondly, that is not even the point! The matter is: this particular song is a translation of a Marathi Abhang of Sant Eknath. And "Eka Janardani" is Sant Eknath's pen-name just as "Punandara Vitthala" is Purandaradasa's. So when you translate any poem authored by these saints, their pen name must be retained in the translation, that's all.

The Vitobha temple was originally under the Kannada haridasas worship and praise in poetry and song. A nice tribute to the haridasas.

Valid point.
even if it were "eka jamardanage sharana"it wud have made it closer to the original meaning
Pandharapura and solapur were once dominated by kannada not marathi

Most arrogant and rude behaviour is of marathis
Lacks the charm of Marathi abhang.
I DON'T THINK SO. IF YOUR MOTHER TONGUE IS KANNADA, THEN DEFINITELY YOU WILL LOVE THIS TRANSLATION.
@@ganeshprabhu3131 houdu. But it is originally composed in marathi. Navellaru Indians.
I had listened to Kannada first liked it very much and then listened to Marathi that also was inspiring .
I wish some one list ragas too
It is written by Sant Eknath. So the' mudrike' should be 'Eka Janardani' Janardan is Eknath's Guru.
Nice, anybody please upload this lyrics in kannada.
how does one get d song lyrics marathi lipi ??
ಇದು ಯಾರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ...?
Sant Eknath..
