Dr ML Raja, and Nilesh Oakji should debate on dates/location of Lanka.Dr Raja come up with date, to prove with scientific evidence ,finding correct location of lanka would help as sea levels changes with ice age, earth quakes etc.
Chakravala Giri, roughly translated, Circular Mountain chain, is mentioned in Ramayana.Oceanographers have mapped more than 10,000 seamounts in Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans. I am sure one of these was close to or in Lankapuri

If we consider ramayana as 14k years ago, indian land mass would be more southern. So 1 yojana would be shorter than 9km and still be at equator? If we consider 36mm/yr, it comes to around 500km south. So 1 yojana would be around 4km at equator

Actually there wasnt any bridge made .because Rameswaram to Srilanka is not too far also we are talking about thousand years ago when sea levels were very less . So the entire discussion is waste of time if current sri lanka is the actual Lanka because it is clearly false

I wonder, the word you mentioned as 'SIMHALA AND LANKA' should be mentioned as 'SINGHALA AND LANKA'.... Singhala or SINHALA is the language of the Lankan's, That is a unique language, all lankans were known as 'SINHALAYO'. By the way when Dr M L Raja visited Nuwara Eliya (this means Bright City) he should have asked the locals to take him to see' Rawana's cave'... where Rawana kept Seetha, only very few people in our country has gone to see the cave, inside the cave going down few floors is where his palace was and even today if you are to go there, you can see the area size of a football pitch and a stream runs next to that, and there is also a helipad like area where he was supposed to have kept his flying machine.... when you do research, it's good to visit these places and see, sometimes you might be able to fill the missing pieces of the puzzle.
Dr ML Raju compared Ramayan measures Today point of view. Very illogical.
But where is the gold kingdom of ravan in sri lanka.
I do not think that Sri Lanka of today is Lanka of Ramayana because 1st the longitude from kurukshetra to Ujjain passes from Maldives and not Sri Lanka. 2nd, the original name of sri Lanka of today was Sinhal dweep because it is inhabited by the Sinhalese people till today.

with all due respect his research presentation looks like based on local legends believes and western studies more than original books and archeological & other evidences. his calculations of Yojanas is also not conclusive. that's why Mr. Nilesh Oak's research is more believable about anything.
He didn't mentions the sea levels at that time and other evidences witch are given by Mr. Nilesh Oak.

Not at all convincing. He does not take into account the times of Ramayana. At that time Srilankan land mass was joined to India. The sea level was lot lower than what it is today. About Yojana:- Ancient Indians knew their maths and integers well enough to calculate the distance of sun. The diameter of earth even the distance of the moon. I don't think they would be that dumb to state that Hanumanji jumped from mahendra giri in south western direction to reach Ravana's Lanka. The equator and the NIR line was from Surya Shiddanta which perfectly calculates the degree of inclination of Earth. In all I am sorry to say this was more of a bullshit.

You are also purely concluding based on assumptions and on the basis of software that is far from perfect. Dr Raja has presented very formidable evidence here, it is not just heresay but correlation of various sources. It's insane to think the bridge would be 80 kms wide and 800 kms in length. Sometimes commin sense is proof enough.
@@allandnothing5987 You'd think it is equally insane for ppl to be 25-28 feet tall. But ppl were indeed that tall in Treta Yug!.
And Bharat's southern tip was far more south than today. So distance from equator would be less then, probably 500kms abt. And for ppl with some 12 feet long legs and that strength, it was not an impossible task to build and walk that distance. We are not talking about ordinary common men here.

The uttar kand wasn't in orignal Ramyana but it was added not by the British but it was added in the Gupta era

For a South Indian Hindi is not their language. Our great musicians A R Rrhman left the show when the anchor spoke in Hindi. They feel superior speaking in English.
In Thailand there's a place called Ayudhaya also there's Lankavi. The king of Thailand is Rama. They have Rama 1 , 2 3 4 and so on. Any connection between this Ram and Valmiki Ram.?????
@@drbharatj nope. Thailand was part of ancient Bharat. Rama was seen as the perfect King so they modelled their kings after Rama. Ayutthaya was named in 1300s by their King U Thong.
Most modern Indians speak English , not everyone knows hindi. If video is done on Hindi, Indians outside of Hindi speaking won't watch.
