Great scenery esp. the sunrises. That marlin was huge!

It was a Mahi Mahi - we still have some in the freezer!

Enjoyed catching up with you again ... fresh fish for breakfast ! Doesn't get much better than that. Take care ... stay safe. Nice to see that Pierre is working with out the sling !

Nice trip by the looks of it. Yes night time at sea and particularly the early mornings are just so special.😊

Loving being back sailing. Still challenging in the Caribbean - so much health paperwork! ( and COVID testing is $$$$$). Hopefully soon vaccinated sailors will not need constant covid testing.

For some reason I was un subscribed....but now back in the loop! Great video...looks like Pierre's arm is doing well?

Welcome back! Pierre's arm is good but he still nerds to work on getting full strength back. It is still strong enough!

Great to see you both back sailing! Could you describe the new reefing system in a bit more detail? I was told a rotating mast couldn't been reefed from the cockpit?

Hi. I just found your channel and am really enjoying. The video monitor you have at your navigation station is fantastic. Was that built in at the factory? I'd also be interested in which electronics manufacturer is installed. If one of your episodes covers that you please just point me in that direction (I haven't watched all your videos yet). I'm glad I found you.

No custom chosen to fit the Nav station and have sufficient hdmi input for the B &G electronics so we can see both our time zero software and B&G data. It is a Dell screen.

It would be great if you could share a .gpx file from a chart plotter that shows your exact route taken. I'm considering leaving from Barnegat Inlet in NJ and wondering how far east I need to go before turning south. I might hook up with the Salty Dawg rally group for 2023

    • @biotreksailing

That was 4 years ago and no longer have our exact route. We left from further north so it would not be too useful. Great idea to go with the Salty Dawgs. They are a great group!

Repair traveler...we did not see anything that happened and what about the repair. It was frustrating

    • @biotreksailing

It happened during a black night and we only saw it during morning inspections. We suspect the traveler was taken too far to the end and the motor is so strong it broke the block that then sheared the Dyneema. Luckily, we had another block for the repair.
