I sometimes dream in first person but then see myself do things as if I'm a camera watching... me. Also, the idea that Sniper lets Engineer sleep in his camper van is so wholesome! Not in a shippy way, ofc, it's just nice!

Not bad. It lacks the depth of sound design. An echoing voice gives off a lonely isolated effect. Also, refrain from any jumpscares. They aren't scary at all and always predictable after watching a lot of horror content. A tense and pressing ambiance is the best at giving fear. Panic is also a great other way. When you are injured and hopeless agaisnt a unknown threat but still try to run away as you can sense that something you cannot see draws near.
I am personally terrified of jumpscares, but the effect fades very quickly. You're right about the panic and ambiance (i.e. games like Little Nightmares and there's also Emesis Blue). That there is a fear that seems to get everyone.
