When removing the screws to the hinge you need to be careful as there may be a plate on the other side of the panel that the screws go into which will fall down when you remove the screws. Take the top panel of the machine off and check as you remove the screws as you may need to hold and lift this off before it falls down. Thanks!
I have a Beko WM74155LW, slightly different to strip, needing to remove the wire on the door rubber carefully to prise the door rubber back a little to enable you to get to the hinge back plate. Other than that, very easy fit. Took no more than 20 minutes to fit as well as cleaning the parts and surrounds up a little.
Top tips... the pin in the kit is blunt ended, my original pin was a bit pointy ended. Using the original pin made it much easier. I also used a little bit of tape to hold the ends of the spring in place. it's a fiddly job, but have patience, it is possible!!

I tried threading the pin through the spring and handle first before attaching it to the door to make sure everything was okay. I then made a few attempts at threading the pin into the door and eventually got there. I then realised the spring was working properly and I had it the wrong way round. I was annoyed! But after another few goes got the right configuration. Just keep fiddling with it mate and it will come together.
Morden101 Take the door off to help get the parts in position easier. Also try fitting handle spring and pin first and then partially remove the pin just enough to push the hook under the spring before fitting the pin back to its correct position.
watched video /bought new handle kit did not find it as easy as this guy, it took me ages to eventually fit pin through all three parts. the difference was my handle was a little wider and covered the holes the pin goes through so lining up was a nightmare got there eventually though at least the basic method was there oh my machine was Indesit wd12x

Hi Mike, I've taken the door off, split the two halves and exposed the latch mechanism only to find at one end where the pin slides through the hole the plastic has snapped off so there is only half a hole on that end. The rest is fine. Probably too much banging! I've still got the top half and thought of sticking it back on with superglue!!! I reckon I need a new inner door half, the half where the spring and latch and pin attach. Do you sell just the half? Des.
Look for your full model number from the label around the door. Depending on manufacturer some will supply the door frame, others will only supply the door complete.

For the first time ever, I've found a small bit of metal has broken away on the door clip, and now the door won't close. Do you know if this is the same approx as Indesit. Would I use a door interlock, a door handle, or a door boot if I was to repair? Is it the same issue as replacing the door handle you show on the Indesit? many thanks!

On some machines there is a metal plate behind the front to hold the hinge screws. If this has come loose retrieve it from the base and take the seal away from he front panel to place it back in position while you refit the screws.

Hi Sharon, sorry we do not have a video. You must check the spring is in the correct position to return the hook and handle to the 'closed side' when released.

Hi Ann, you can just use the handle but depending on model the part may be supplied by the manufacturers with the spring, hook and pin.

Oh the dishwasher empties. And fills after programme set but just wont wash or spray etc. Steam still works but no wash. Could it be the motor?
