Digging a pond in clay soil. It' was time to get serious, so I dug a well. Part 5.

The weather was too dry and the pond dam was drying out so much, it was beginning to crack. I was afraid to wait on all of the "slow burn" approaches to work, so we went for the sure fire way to ensure a permanent water source.
We had a well dug, and at a production of 30 gallons per minute, the well was the best thing I could have done for the pond.
