    Nice 👍 Rich
Tekno fan boy here, I would love to get their 17mm wheel nut wrench because it has the shock cap tightening component, but I already have the AKA, it's a great tool, but as you said tools with more than one feature are awesome. The Protek is very similar to the Tekno shock tool, which is great to see, their designers have done a nice job.
Unfortunately don't have the cash or need that badly to justify two 17mm wrenches.
The AKA is a beautiful wrench but it only has a singular purpose, if I had my time again I think I'd go the Tekno.
In saying that AKA make that fantastic 5.5 -7.0mm wrench with that nifty spring loaded mechanism to swap between the two sizes. Best on the market I think?👍🤓🇦🇺

These or the Tekno ones??? I think the teknos have a ball in spot as well. I need a pair

Yes correct. But what I find is that if you separate the two handles then it’s easy to use one piece as a press for BALL-in

Have you had the opportunity to try out the Hudy Professional Multi Tool (p/n 183011)?
The Protek shock shaft tool is probably the most popular in the RC market, but I'm curious how the Hudy compares, especially given the difference in price.

I have a set of Hudy tools on the way here.....but not the shaft pliers

@@TheRCNetwork That's too bad. I'm sure Hudy tools are fantastic but it would have been great to hear your review and thoughts on Hudy's Multi Tool.

It would be a hundred percent perfect, if it also put the eyelet pivot in the eyelet as well as punching it out, cool tool though

Ive been using my ball end pliers as they have a shock shaft clamp at the very end of them. They arent shock shaft pliers but have the provision. I FINALLY got myself a set of shock pliers but i cant find the information on this one specific portion. Its in the handle, has a flat brass (anvil?) That is about 8 mm in diameter on one side of the handle. Then on the other side of the handle has a potion that looks like the end of a pen when you take it all apart that the ball point and ink cartrige protrudes through. Looks as though you would be able to fit a shock shaft through it and have the threaded end make contact with the brass anvil. Not quite sure if you are understanding but the part number is #DYNT1260. Dynamite product. Would anyone know what that end is for?

It's to remove rod end balls / place them back in
